Arrived late at night off the ferry. Reception was efficient, rooms were massive (2 double beds). Great nights sleep - in a good location.

Ramada Hotel Dover- Just off the A2 near to Dover

Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: We liked the room decor and the two double beds. We think the location is good.
Cons: Breakfast should be included in the price and the hotel should build a swimming pool/spa. Local area information could be available in the room.
Location: We visited Deal. We loved the arty shops. The pier is good to walk along and there is a brilliant ice cream place. Kingsdown beach has a good pub.
We loved our smart room with two double beds and modern decor. We enjoyed the hospitality tray. The hotel was comfortable and convenient. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed visiting towns in the local area. The hotel was well located being just off the A2.

My husband, myself and our 10 year old daughther stayed 1 night at this hotel after a day at Dover Castle. Hotel was very resonably priced, very nice decor in the room, very clean room and bathroom and would recommend this hotel to any one staying in that area.

Day trip to France

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, quiet despite being close to A2. Room a good size with tea making facilities.
Cons: Bathroom and bat a little small fo comfort.
Location: We went to France for day, 10 mins to ferry. Dover Castle also close by.
Pleasant stay. Room as expected, bathroom and bath a tad small, glad to see tea/coffee in room. Party going on during visit which restricted the dining area and choice. Still had evening meal which was good.

Average stay

The hotel is ok for the price. Breakfast is good. The location is a bit difficult to find since there are many one-way street. The disadvantage is that it does not have elevator. So we have to carry our big luggage to the 2nd. floor. For a one night stay is ok if one has to wait for the Euro train early the next day. Otherwise better stay in town where there are more happenings. The advantage of this hotel is the free parking space.
