Pros: Very comfy bed; great sleep quality
Cons: Sealing a window draught- easily remedied. Sausages not as good as sister hotel in Sandwich
Location: Central for all things Deal
Great beds, good sleep quality in very individual rooms. Good breakfast Excellent staff. Fabulous location for Deal Paid cark park right on seafront. The odd squeaky floorboard but hey ho lovely.

Nice stay at the Royal

Posted Dec 8, 2014 on Hotels
Nice stay at the Royal. Staff were helpful and I think its strengths lie on the bar food and restaurant side. The building needs some investment - for example double glazing would make a big difference in reducing car noise at night/early morning, but as it's a listed hotel this would also cost a shed load of money. Fundamentally if you want a hotel on the sea front this is the one for you. Have to say though that in 50 years I don't expect it to exist any more - the sea will have it in due course.
