Quaint hotel, very Dickensian

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The character of this property is amazing
Cons: It is a pub/restuarant so in the summer months the patrons are outside just below the windows and it was inclined to be noisy.
Stayed here to attend a wedding. Staff were very nice, breakfast excellent. Room was pretty but bathroom could be updated a bit. Lovely old furniture but doors and drawers got stuck so were noisy.

Charming place , friendly staff, good food

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: The old fashioned style, the staff
Cons: The communication about the room facilities (bathroom in corridor)
Very clean room, friendly staff. The food was excellent as well. The bathroom was in the corridor, which I didn't noticed at the time I booked.

Hotel met geschiedenis.

Posted May 3, 2015

Tired and a bit shabby

Posted Apr 22, 2015 on Hotels
The room was a classic old pub room at in a lovely old pub. But the room and furniture was very old and tired. The room was in poor repair. If you want history then it is a place to stay but if you want comfort then it is not the pace to stay

Pros: Character...
Stayed for one night on a business trip, very comfortable, not sure it would make a romantic weekend experience.

A nice old pub in the Kent village of Cobham. The room was fine, nothing special with a faulty loo. Decore was tired and needed work. The breakfast was good but overall an expensve stay for the quality of service.

Great service and friendly. Loved the decor and olde style hotel
