Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable.Posted Jul 19, 2014
The WiFi was really fast. The kitchen and pub were great. The central location was excellent as the Cathedral and High Street were only about a 5 minute walk. We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed it.

Well-placed, clean and friendlyPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Water in shower luke-warm at 7 a.m. Pillows hard - but these are just niggles. Wouldn't stop me from going back.
Location: Very central. Lots of cafes, highstreet and independent shops and restaurants. World Heritage site.
Really enjoyed our stay. Lots of hotels in the area, but I really think we found one of the best. Easy walk from station, to shops, etc. Great room - spotless. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Can't fault it.

Best free breakfast in Europe.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Very good breakfast.
Cons: Air Conditioning in the room would add a lot to overall sleeping comfort.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance to the city center market, Roman Portal, and Canterbury Cathedral. Also river walks and cycling are local.
Breakfast was custom order prepared the way you like it. Extremely well prepared. Room was large (Millers Room) and clean. Air conditioning would be a BIG plus for the summer months.

Nice weekend in Canterbury made even nicer.Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: The location and service as well as the fulsome breakfast.
Arrived on a Friday in April to attend a conference and, although the public bar area was busy, was served immediately and shown to my room. The room was small - it was a single after-all, the facilities were perfect and the staff friendly. Tea making facilities were well stocked and the rooms cleaned regularly. In fact, the Miller's Arms was scrupulously clean. The breakfast was lovely - full English with a choice of how your egg was cooked. I was served immediately and the décor was perfect. The whole location of the Miller's Arms is very restful and picturesque and, despite the rooms being above a busy and friendly pub, the noise levels hardly intruded on my sleep. All-in-all, this was a great place to stay and my finger will hover little on my decision to click on the 'book now' button when I stay there next year. Only problem is; it is so popular I might be booked out! Top makes 'Miller's Arms'.

Cosy clean compact convenient cooperativePosted May 12, 2014
We were able to see top of cathedral from a window, bathtub is bit small and shower is fixed one so not easy for children use,but mirror is stylish light on and off, floor is warm in new bathroom.Family room is compact, but amenity is well prepared. everything was from hospitality from staffs of hotel, they are all professional and warm hearted,we think.

Historic charm with all mod consPosted May 6, 2014
The inn is by the mill remains that make its name. The setting is especially pleasant and a real location. Walking distance to the chathedral and quiet without being far from the main centre.

Stayed to attend a local theatre.Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Rooms and breakfast
Cons: No parking at the hotel but it is only over the road and you can buy a parking permit at the hotel.
Location: We were unable to walk round the town as it was pouring with rain but the Cathedral and main street were very close by.
Had a really nice stay and would definitely stay again. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent.

City centre hotel in CanterburyPosted Apr 6, 2014
Excellent stay, a weekend away without the children. Room was very big, and had a view to Canterbury Cathedral. There was also a spare single bed and plenty of room for a portable cot/bed. Manager was very attentive, and we had a good chat on arrival. Directly over the road from a large public carpark, with a reduced parking permit available at checkin. Lovely cooked breakfast, with sun shining through the large rear windows.
