Room above the pub in centre of CanterburyPosted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was excellent! Staff very friendly and helpful! Close to city centre
Cons: Parking voucher could be included rather than as an additional charge
Location: Very close to city centre - plenty to see in Canterbury
Had great time there. Only wish I didn't have to purchase an additional parking permit

Great pub, close to heart of CanterburyPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: Helpful staff, excellent location, great cooked breakfast and superb pint of Masterbrew (not a breakfast!).
A lovely place to stay: friendly, thoughtfully refurbished, nice pub atmosphere.

Bar, good dining room, nice room, atmosphere, firePosted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Staff, atmosphere, location.
Cons: WiFi is terrible. English seem to not understand how to fry an egg.
Location: Canterbury is very nice. Hotel is close to all sights and train stations.
Tremendous stay. Sympathetic people when luggage was very late arriving.

It was a lovely break for the two of us.Posted Aug 27, 2014
I must say I couldn't have picked a better place for us to stay. The food, place, staff and the beer on tap was perfect. So close to Canterbury cathedral as well. I would recommended it anyone. We are going to book again.

What a lovely hotel. A great location, the manager, Paul very helpful. Have already recommended to friends who will be staying next week.

Great location, but choose your room carefullyPosted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a quaint inn with old-world atmosphere but with all the modern amenities in your room. Think carefully about your sleep and smoking habits, however. A room in the back near the patio will give you noise and smoke from the bar patrons. A room away from the back patio and the front entrance will net you a quieter, fresher experience.

Lovely pub with great roomsPosted Jul 27, 2014
The Millars Arms is located next to a weir in an older part of Canterbury. It is an old pub that has undergone a sensitive refurbishment that makes it open and airy whilst maintaining charm and character. The rooms are well appointed with lovely en-suites and comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and efficient without being overbearing and the breakfast was lovely. The only negative point is that when we stayed it was a very hot night, the windows wouldn't open far and they weren't able to supply a fan. This however is a minor point when considering the fantastic location and the ease if strolling right into the centre of the city through the windy lanes alongside the Catherdral. We would book again.

Everything that is charming in UKPosted Jul 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great little hotel/pub. Room was lovely and clean. Service was outstanding. The only little issue was a bit of noise from the bar, however I popped my earplugs in and couldn't hear a thing. There was also a bit of cigarette smoke coming up from the bar but I closed the bottom half if the window and problem was solved. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable.Posted Jul 19, 2014
The WiFi was really fast. The kitchen and pub were great. The central location was excellent as the Cathedral and High Street were only about a 5 minute walk. We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed it.
