We didn’t get to check in for two hours despite arriving 30 minutes after check in time. Staff were unable to give us an estimate. We were given free drink vouchers which we found out from the rudest bar person in history that they could only be used for the cheapest lager and wine. The room made a weird dripping sound all night. All round worst hotel experience I’ve ever had I think.

I went for a professional event, and took my kids with me. The check in was quick and smooth. The staff was very kind and professional. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to enjoy all the facilities, but I would definitely would come back for a leisure weekend.

The staff were friendly and Jennie and John were very attentive to our needs at breakfast Really enjoyed our stay. Facilities excellent. Gyms and swimming pool were clean and not over crowded

Good standard all round. Only criticism would be room service app. Not accepting payment so I had to go to reception to pay and collect my food, still charged £5 room service fee though.

Sorry to leave such a bad review, but…. I got a very sharp electric shock every time I touched anything in both of the rooms I stayed. I screamed it was so bad and I had to turn lights on and off and open the door using my shoe with a rubber sole. At breakfast there was no coffee and the lady said “I’ve run out”. Not please wait a moment, so breakfast was terrible. I had a problem with my tv, they looked at it and then it continued so they moved me to a different room, so that’s a positive. Overall the hotel is just really tired. Food was very expensive for what it is. Also shower ran cold every few moments.

Maidstone visit
Tudor Park Country Club is set in a lovely position. The rooms are very comfortable with nice décor. We enjoyed a very good breakfast the following morning. We will be going back here.

Lovely hotel, great staff.
I stayed four nights for business. A very comfortable hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious and well equipped with outside patio space and seating looking out over the gardens. I ate in the restaurant twice and once in the bar area. All excellent food with friendly and attentive staff all round!

Leisure facilities were fantastic. My wife has allergies to feather Duvets / Pillows which we discovered were standard in the room, asked reception if they could be changed, which they happily and quickly did. Breakfast was probably the nicest I have had in a hotel, tasty and cooked to perfection, the buffet was well laid out and had minimal risk from cross contamination as my wife is Vegan and gluten-free. My wife was offered a great vegan and gluten-free breakfast. We did want to eat in the hotel in the evening, however the menu didn't have anything that suited my wife's dietary requirements, so we ended up eating elsewhere, which was a shame.

My room was a little bit tired and TV would switch off after 5 minutes!! Staff were good in bar area but the two staff behind the bar in the Thurnham suite ( where the function was held ) were more interested in chatting each other up and just ignored customers, numerous people said something and there was no reaction !!

Fantastic stay. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and the facilities were very good. Food was very good especially the evening meal in the cast iron grill.

Very nice, clean hotel with comfortable room and great facilities. Breakfast and restaurant options were excellent as were all the staff. Only negative was the soundproofing in the bedroom. Could hear anyone above using their toilet and also the water flow must be pumped as this echoed around the room everytime the tap or toilet was used.

My recent stay was far from the luxurious experience I had anticipated. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, it became apparent that this hotel had seen better days. It was a stark contrast to the standard of luxury one would expect from a Marriott property. Many parts of the interior were either under construction or in the midst of refurbishment. The overall ambiance of the hotel was more reminiscent of a local golf club with accommodation than the refined atmosphere one would associate with a Marriott hotel resort. The worn-out room furnishings and ongoing construction made it difficult to feel like a valued guest. In conclusion, my stay at this Marriott hotel resort was a major disappointment. The old and dilapidated furnishings, ongoing construction, and ineffective AC, and subpar breakfast all contributed to an experience that fell far short of the luxury and comfort one anticipates from the Marriott brand. While the staff's efforts to maintain a pleasant atmosphere were appreciated, the overall state of the hotel left me questioning my choice of accommodation. I can only hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards restoring this property to its former glory.

Not suitable for wheelchairs: bars and restaurant only accessible via a stairlift which had to be operated by a member of staff and a trip through the kitchens. Food was a reasonable standard but the menu was basic: nothing met the claim of 'fine dining'. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make up for the hotel's shortcomings.

Good but noisy
Would have scored higher but morning cleaning staff, from early, would shout along corridor to each other and talk loudly. Very fisturbing. Also the plumbing was very noisy and i could hear people urinating in other rooms and cisterns filling up loudly from at least four other rooms.

It was very basic. No help to our room staying for 3 nights and a wedding to go to we explained at reception we had a lot of luggage. She gave us a trolley to use! Very unhelpful. Bed was so uncomfortable didn’t sleep well for all 3 nights. Couldn’t get through to reception to order room service. Tried for an hour!
