Nice hotel, good servicePosted Aug 31, 2014
It is a clean hotel, good service, nice gym, the only problem I had was that the phone reception was very bad.

Room for improvementPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The swimming pool. Convenient location.
Cons: Cleanliness. numbers and quality of staff.
Location: Leeds Castle. County Showground.
My stay was generally okay. However, the accommodation was not as clean as I would like, the toilet would not flush properly and, believe it or not, the water was too hot, in itself a strange thing to complain about and the real disappointment was that the staff did not seem to understand that the stock answer of "No other rooms available" would suffice.

Stop Over -Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: This Venue is very busy at weekends and appears popular for weddings, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating amidst the chaos it all.
Location: The Royal Dockyard, Leeds Castle, Retail Park at Ashford all worth a visit.
The hotel was an ideal base for a four day 3night stop over on our way back from France, to see Leeds Castle, Chatham Dockyard and visit an area we hadn't before.

Location: Plenty of tourist attractions, Leeds and Hever Castles, Maidstone and other towns
Very friendly resort, excellent gym facilities which can be used by all. Room excellent with all facilities. Breakfast buffet style but included all you needed.

RIP OFF AT CHECKOUTPosted Jul 30, 2014
Cons: DON'T CHARGE EXTRA TO PAY THE BILL STAFF EXCUSE IS THE COSTS - WELL BUILDING, BUSINESS RATES, STAFF, FIT OUT ALL ARE COSTS, BUT ARE NOT EXTRAS
Fine except for being charged extra to pay by credit card. Tiny little light grey sign on reception and not pointed out before checkin, only at checkout. Nothing at the time of booking. RIP OFF!

Like sleeping on the surface of the sun.Posted Jul 8, 2014
On a mild night (c12 degrees outside) the room, with no air con, was unbearably hot. Could not sleep. Windows don't open. Staff sympathetic & helpful but unable to provide a robust solution for the second night (which was a mercifully cooler night).

Very relaxingPosted Jul 1, 2014
We have stayed in this hotel about 10 times and it never disappoints. Excellent value for money bearing in mind that it's only 2 miles from the town. Price included full English breakfast plus full use of the gym, pool etc. There's a really nice river side walk to maidstone which takes about 30-40 minutes.

Enjoyed our stay, loved the swimming pool and our grandchildren enjoyed staying over in our family room.

Just could not get up in the morning!Posted May 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was by far the most comfortable stay I've had in a business hotel: despite its situation by a motorway junction, it was quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and warm, with a large, firm bed: just what the doctor ordered. Breakfast was plentiful and good, wifi free and readily available, and the pool, although busy by the time I got into it, was large enough to accommodate the clientele. I will definitely return again in the near future.

Didnt deliver on a promisePosted May 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall I did not feel it provided value for money. The extra I paid for an upgraded room did not reflect in what I got. I would not be likely to pay the extra again to use it.
