“Great small hotel with a Tuscan flavor”
Kenwood Inn is a really lovely small hotel. It's older so the rooms are not perfect, but the grounds are really beautiful with a great pool and three hot tubs. I had a super massage with Angie in the spa. The restaurant is really nice, especially the fresh-baked pastries in the morning. Coming from the East we got up early and had th at their freshest. Warm and hospitable staff. We'll definitely go back.
“Moon light in Sonoma”
We loved this hotel... Beautiful setting, very romantic, extremely comfy and really, really relaxing. Excellent food, reasonably priced. Wonderful staff... Very friendly and helpful. We are already booked to return....
“Absolutely Amazing Getaway”
This has been the most amazing experience of my life! Everything from checking in, to the view, professional and warming staff and most importantly the privacy. No kids or pets which was nice and peaceful. The only bad thing if I absolutely need to mention is the cost of drinks. I am definately coming back!!
“Perfect getaway”
It was absolutely perfect Beautiful, relaxing and quite The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable The grounds were lovely I was sad to leave
“Wonderful retreat marred by noisy room”
The service was terrific, the staff was unfailingly attentive. The grounds of the hotel are delightful - It has the ambiance of an Italian retreat. The meals were fantastic, and served in a delightful courtyard. Breakfast was a treat - an ample Continental buffet, and a different delicious special egg breakfast each day. Dinner was top notch and the ambiance very pleasant. The only downside was the noise in our room from the upstairs! Every time someone walked across the room above there were loud floor creaks and the sound of metal popping. It was very disturbing especially when the upstairs guests were moving around late at night. The front desk told us that we were in one of the few cottage rooms that had yet to be renovated, so perhaps this is an anomaly.
“great hotel but room for improvement!”
bathroom was very dated and needing facelift! missed not having t.v.
“Gem in the Valley”
To begin, the location of the Inn is the perfect mid-point between the quaint town of Sonoma and the myriad of wineries located throughout the valley and north of there. Although Highway 12 has a decent amount of traffic, you don't hear it behind the walls/buildings of the Inn. The courtyards are beautiful, with many species of plants/trees that provide the raw ingredients for the kitchen staff to turn into tasty meals. The spa facilities are well appointed and offer a wide range of services. The pools, sauna, and soaking areas are very clean with plenty of towels and places to lounge. The staff is excellent! They take pride in providing a superior level of service, are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area, and provided us with numerous tips on where to go, how to get there, and what to see on the way. The room we stayed in was large, with multiple areas to relax. The bathroom was equally spacious with a jetted tub and walk in shower. My only negative comments would be on the bed (the mattress must have been very worn as you couldn't help rolling into the middle of the bed... from any angle). It certainly needs to be replaced. And, the room was showing some simple maintenance needs (closet doors sticking, shower door gasket was hanging. But, overall, it was an incredible place to stay and we look forward to returning in future years to this gem in the valley.
