Excellent Location, Friendly StaffPosted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: Location and staff.
Location: Perfect location in the middle of downtown.
Just spent one night, but enjoyed our stay. Room was small but comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for exploring downtown. Great pub with Irish music connected to hotel.

Right in the action of KillarneyPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Location right in the middle of everything in Killarney, plus Ring of Kerry and Dingle area.
Cons: Larger fans available in rooms during warm weather.
Nice hotel with good pub and decent restaurant in Killarney. Live music nightly. Close for jumping off to ring of Kerry and Dingle areas. Parking below hotel was tight to drive in/out. Like fold in mirrors and have width of your fist on either side of car, tight. Not a deal breaker for us, but good to know for others. Rooms were a bit hot in warm weather, but tough to complain about anything due to warm weather in the area.

Perfect locationPosted Sep 16, 2014
Location: Killarney National Park, Ross Park and access to Deros Ring of Kerry Tour.
The hotel was located around the corner from everything. Killarney National Park and Ross castle were walking distance.

Great Location!Posted Sep 7, 2014
Great location. Close to street shopping and pubs. Room was clean and hotel staff were excellent. The hotel is a little 'tired'. Could use a little perking up, but for the price - not bad and would stay there again.

Poor room, No parkingPosted Sep 4, 2014
Pros: The evening front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room should be re-purposed as a linen closet, laundry room...anything but a guest room. Even if redecorated, the window would still be blocked.
Location: This hotel is right in the middle of downtown so walking distance to most things.
We have stayed in lots of Best Western hotels, and in fact stayed in another very nice one in Limerick right after our stay at the Best Western Eviston. However, we were quite disappointed by our room at the Eviston in Killarney. The room was very dark, had cold, industrial lighting, and was painted battleship grey. The room seemed to have been created by joining together two very small rooms, so that the resulting room was long and narrow with re-clad structural beams where the dividing wall used to be. The single window at one end of the room opened onto a back alley but even that view was obscured by a large metal air intake. In short, it was a terrible room. Also, this hotel is categorized as having free parking. However, with approximately 120 rooms and only 17 parking spaces, it hardly qualifies as actually having free parking. There are, however, 2 large city parking lots close by. They are not secured, but this didn't seem to be an issue. Also, the parking is free after 6pm and before 8am. After these times these two lots are 'pay and display.' If this hotel wants to claim that it has free parking, it should arrange with the city to pay for guests to park, and should provide guests with a free permit to parking in these lots.

Great locationPosted Aug 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a cool hotel in the middle of town. We walked everywhere and had a great time. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We drank in the hotel bar til 2 or 3 and listened to a few locals sing and had a great time. To get to the room its a bit of a maze but not too bad. The room was clean and comfortable.

Good HotelPosted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff are very helpful and the service was excellent. The room was very dated and small with a noisey air condition unit outside my window! I was only there for one night so it was fine but would have asked to be moved if I stayed longer.
