Awesome awesome awesome! The Mosque is amazing and right next to a Bazaar and a Café shop with the occasional live entertainment. We had so much fun..

This market is good for shopping, but word of advice you need to bargain a lot, they may say the price 800 Egyptian pound but will come down to 200, be aware they will scam you if do not watch out

It is really medieval and not in a good way. So many people here and cars that I nearly had a panic attack, and I am not weak in that regard. Can't really recommend

Vendors are a bit pushy. If you are not interested in shopping, just keep walking, even though it feels impolite.

Miraculously found a parking place within the souk on Coptic Easter Sunday morning, so we were able to walk around before most of the shops opened and then shop without crowds. Some of the better shops were on the smaller side alleys for jewelry and lanterns. The majority of the merchandise is tourist kitsch. Merchants were friendly and not aggressively hawking their wares. It was a pleasant experience.
