“Definitely recommend”

Right on the beach. Great service and friendly staff. Gym not much, but the only downside. Very conveniently located for restaurants/stores.

“Good but not 5 star”

We spent 10 day at this hotel with our 12 year old son. The Hotel was very satisfactory, the staff were polite and on the whole efficient. The food was OK. The swimming pool was great as it had large shaded area where kids and adults alike could stay in water for long without getting sunburnt. The hotel had a couple of ping pong and pool tables but they were all quite old and somewhat unusable. The other recreational facilities were likewise shabby. There were other small annoying issues which did not spoil out holiday but were enough to down grade this hotel in our eyes to at best a 4 star hotel. We will be happy to go back there but our expectations will be lower.

“nice, modern hotel but not 5*”

Porto Platanias Beach hotel has nice public rooms and comfortable but basic bedrooms.The half board buffetis repetitive and needs to be broken up with a couple of nights waiter service.The town is full of shops selling rubbishy souveniers and the hotel is almost too nice for the resort.
