Good hotel let down by poor cleaning service
Hotel room was nice, food was good, restaurant service good, no daily room cleaning, was charged for dry cleaning even though the room was only cleaned and serviced once in a four day stay, charged for water which I didn’t take from mini bar. no receipt for any extra charges. Overall the hotel was good, just let down by poor cleaning service who seemed lazy. Pity as I’d probably would have used this hotel again as it was not a bad location for tram to city and store next door, unlikely to book again unless a good deal comes up.

Awesome place but make sure to take a king or queen bed and skip option to stack two beds together it is not comfortable at all.

Great little hotel and breakfast service. Fun design. The only sub-standard issue is the location. If it's near where you want to be, or you're happy using Uber regularly, than I would recommend this hotel. It's far from the get-to-know-Kharkiv spots and on a Friday evening there isn't a restaurant open in the evening nearby.

Fantastic boutique hotel close to Metallist stadiu
Great boutique hotel. 20 min walk into town or 3 min walk to nearest metro/tram stop. 10 min walk to Metallist Stadium. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. WiFi is quick and reliable. Breakfast is local cuisine' cooked to order and sets you up for the day. Area is quiet so not a lot of bars/ restaurants nearby. Staff are extremely helpful. 3rd time we have stayed and will definitely use again. Local taxi from airport is between 200-250 krvna (Local currency) be sure to agree price first. Use taxi outside to get a fair price.

Rough start- great stay
I had a little difficulty with the registration person on the first evening. The refrigerator would not work and I have already purchased some things I need for my diet. She made it sound like it had been broken for some time, so I questioned why it had not been repaired. She replied curtly, "No one else has complained." Needless to say, I didn't appreciate that much at all. The refrigerator was working the next day. The staff the other days were terrific and Lena in the breakfast area was superb!

My wife and I stayed nearly 2 weeks at this hotel. This hotel offers incredible comfort for Kharkiv. Good location (close to metro), grocery store on first floor, state of the art gym on 4 th floor and a wonderful restaurant on the 5 th floor. Best breakfast with good choice. The room was extremely clean and room service excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a fairly new building and there seems to be some unresolved issues with hot water to the rooms. It requires several minutes to arrive to the faucets. Also our arrival was complicated by the staff's request that we issue a second credit card payment for our entire stay because they had not received our payment from Expedia. I refused but they let us stay anyway promising to get in touch with Expedia to sort out this problem which they dis the next day. Overall excellent experience, highly recommended, we are already planning to return to this hotel on our next trip to Ukraine.

Great for the football stadium.
The location for the footbll stadium was ideal and got access to the metro. The staff we're very friendly abd helpful. The rooms we're fantastic for the price, would recommend for the future.

Excellent Hotel In Kharkov.
This is the best hotel in town with reasonable price. The Hotel Staff is Best. Especially Receptionist Ms. Marina is the BEST one. She is helping customer with courteously and professionally. The hotel location is very good and on the first floor you can buy fruits and vegetables the best is you can go there in ANY weather in short and slipper. And on the 4th Floor you get a Gym access without charge. I am very much pleased with this hotel staff and everything.

Good hotel.
Good hotel with friendly staff who had adequate command of the English language. The staff were always polite and helpful. The décor of the hotel was a little over the top, by North American standards, but it showed that the hotel is trying to look modern and fashionable. Also of note is that the room was considerably larger than others offered in Western Europe. The location of the hotel was a fair distance from the downtown core, but it was close to a subway station. The only real downfall or complaint would be the availability of hot water for showers. On several occasions the water for showering was mild at best and downright cold on several mornings. This may actually be a problem with the country's energy and not necessarily the fault of the hotel.

Give it a try....
Overall my stay was good, the décor, rooms and gym were excellent-quirky, and as described. The room was fine, but the air-con in the room broke-down during my stay! The only downside was the local area which is a bit grim, but a short taxi ride (£2) you are in the centre of the town. For curry lovers, try the Indian Palace a short ride away. My only negative point was the breakfast, a runny omelette was not a pretty sight!! Overall the price was good value and the receptionist was very helpful.

Loved the stay overall. Other than shower booth having a little bit of leakage issue, everything was great, especially breakfast delivered to the room. We did order it the night before with specific time request, and it did arrive around the time requested. It was delicious. The gym amenity is quite worth it, as you are getting an access to a full equipped commercial gym (called Stimul) with trainers, not just a small room with basic equipments. Overall very satisfied with our time there. Would definitely go back.

My stay was great. The service was amazing, the food is delicious and the rooms are clean. I want to say a special thank to the hotel service and management. I forgot my iPhone 6 in the room and left. When I arrived in Germany I noticed that I forgot my iPhone and called the hotel. The front desk person told me that they found my iPhone and were happy to send it to me to Germany. Many thanks to you guys!!! Great hotel and great stay. I would definitely come back.

Very interesting hotel. Good breakfast, great workout facilities. Suite was very chic. Downside was the bed was hard as a ROCK! :( And the cleaning staff did not honor the "Do Not Disturb" sign - that is a HUGE no-no for me!

A very nice hotel indeed.
The Mirax is a fine hotel with friendly staff. If one is to use public transport, it is best to use the metro to get there instead of the slow, dirty trams. The hotel guests have access to a very good gym. Bring your gym clothes and remember to bring a bottle of water. A piece of sound advice is to order breakfast in advance, preferably the night before to avoid a long delay. I would definitely recommend this hotel with the above advice.

Didn't expect this...
I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel pick at first. But I had to remember this is a old city. But my fears were put to rest. As soon as I entered the hotel. It was clean from top to bottom. The decor appeared to be fairly new or at least well maintained. I was in room 6. It was a large room that faced the street. The bathroom was a great size. Get this. It had a tub with jets that could fit five or six adults. I know right!!! There is a gym on the fourth floor. The hotel has a restaurant on the top floor. Good in a pinch. Free breakfast. They also serve lunch and dinner. But..... I wasn't a big fan. The staff was great. Very helpful. All of the receptionist spoke English which was a life saver for me. Bank that exchanges currency like fifty steps away. I would gladly stay there again. Thumbs up to the Mirax.

Comfortable, stylish - for "interesting weekends"
Very stylish and comfortable. Just needs a little more thought about layout. All reception staff spoke good English and were very welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately they were renovating the restaurant/bar. I was told on Thursday that it "should be completed by Saturday". When I departed on Tuesday - (as far as I know) it was still not complete. This was sad - because I would have liked to have seen it. I think the renovating was performed by mice wearing soft shoes because I rarely heard any sounds - which I was very grateful for. However, the kitchen was open and food could be delivered to the room. Very good, fresh, tasty - I highly recommend. My room had no bedside table or power points near the head of the bed. Neither was there any table or chairs. So, if I had invited a guest to dine with me in my room - we would have had to crouch on the bed or share a stool facing a wall. Deep, comfortable bath - wonderful. Door to mini bar opened with difficulty because it was located too close to the thick carpet. This hotel is above a 24 hour supermarket. One can gain access to the supermarket from within the hotel - which is very convenient. The supermarket is above average and has a good deli counter and lots of nice "treats". Metro station, money changer and banks are all within 5-6 minutes walk. I used the hotel airport transfer service.... only 20 minutes drive - without rushing. I will stay there again because I truly believe they will continue to improve.

This hotel is a work of art. The people are fantastic both Natalia and Julia at reception are amazing. Rooms are clean location is a but of a hike to the centre but no biggie as there are many Taxis. Don't forget to visit Panorama Lounge it's great fun. And if you get bored go have a chat with Natalia or Julia who speak fantastic English and are so beautiful :))))). Would I visit the hotel again " Yes"

Бронировал два номера стандарт и полу-люкс. Номер с повышенным комфортом разочаровал. Было холодно, отсутовала заявленная массажная ванна, завтрак подали с пластмассовыми приборами в отличии от стандарта. Так же в отеле подобного класса должна быть питьевая вода. В остальном все было хорошо и соответствовало заявленному.

The hotel is near the metro station . You can easily go to the centre in 2 stations.The staff was very kind and friendly. Especially Miss Kate helped me so much. The breakfast is good.The rooms are clean and tidy. The most important thing in the hotel is safety i think.The doors closed at night and 24 hours reception opens the main door in seconds when you arrive. Thank you Mirax Hotel.
