City Center Hotel

Posted Dec 7, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: No slippers or bath robes in the room (unstisfactory for a 4-star rated hotel). More selections for the mini bar.
Location: Less than 1 km walk to the Opera House, underground shopping mall, Churches and at least 20 nice restaurants
Good location--near some nice restaurants and beautiful buildings. Beds were terrible--they were on rollers and moved too easily when sleeping. No slippers or bath robes in the room. ATM did not work. NO hot water for the morning on the first day.

Overrated...

Just a standard business hotel with excessive rates. There are hotels with the same standard just round the corner. Prices for extra services (breakfast, lobby bar, minibar, laundry etc) are ridiculous. Staff is arrogant (no apology for not working key cards which happened 3 times in 3 days) - instead I was accused for putting it too close to my mobile (I didn't even have a mobile with me). They made me pay for a mistake they made semselves with a lobby bar order - small money, but they were not able to solve it. I only paid because I was too tired. Never again.

Excellent hotel, but no place to eat lunch???

Great hotel, but very limited restaurant choices. We had business lunch at 2 pm, and no place where to eat. Lounge is closed at 1 am, and no any place to have a bite and drink after that.

Radisson Kiev

Very nice upgraded room. However wooden floors creates noise from neighbouring rooms. Aircon was ineffective. There was a conference which meant that many of the public areas were out of bounds. A pool would be nice. Bar and restaurant ridiculously expensive.

Nice hotel centrally located

Nice and clean facility with wifi that came free. Nice good breakfast is served for $20-25. Located 10 min away from the freedom square on the central Kreshatik Ave.. Don't miss the historical Golden Gates right next to the hotel.
