Initial customer service honestly wasn’t that friendly or that great. Upon leaving Ms.Giselle and the gentlemen at the front were all smiles and super friendly. This by far is the cleanest room I have ever stayed in!! I inspect facilities for a living, I had an extremely hard time finding anything. Very clean and well taken care of!! Would definitely stay here again for the cleanliness and design is the room alone! Large Tv and tons of great cable!!

Friendly but not all advertised services offered
I booked this particular hotel because the shuttle service advertised on their website. I arrive at the airport on to find out there is not shuttle service, and I am stranded. I had to get a taxi and was out $60 I had not plan on it. Very frustrating!

Room was fine but shower valve was reversed so it went from HOT to COLD and did not match the valve plate’s hot / cold indicators. Wi-Fi was spotty. TV channels lacked some basic channels….AMC, comedy, HLN/CNN, and PBS was intermittent

No fleas is a good thing. A lot of noise from renovation upstairs right on my head woke me up and gave me headache. When we called the front desk, she said it was in the website. Not a very nice response. Because of that, I will not go back in your hotel.

Had no clean towels my whole stay, my family and I had to switch rooms due to no cable in room, gave both of us a handicapped room. Desk clerk told me to return towels, and get fresh ones, never happen the whole time I was staying. My brother had to clean his own room just to move in quickly, no type of housecleaning staff. Manager at front desk was very rude, didn’t try to help in any type of way. Front desk clerk was very short with us, when only we was asking for the simple things for our room. My and my sister room had garbage built up, odor in room, due to front desk manager told us, they only clean once a week, and since I am only staying a short time, our rooms will not be clean at all. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE, AND WILL NOT BE USING TRAVELOCITY TO BOOK ANY FLIGHTS OR HOTELS ROOMS IN THE FUTURE. VERY VERY, UNHAPPY AND DISSAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL, AND HOTEL SERVICE, AND STAFF. Ps, the ice maker in my room wasn’t working, and the air condition in my sister’s room was making a lot of noise, and again mention it to the front desk manager, which she brush us off, to tend to other guest that was staying longer then us.

Frustrating at first, but they did fix everything.
Our overall stay was nice! It was very convenient to have a stove top, toaster, and fridge in the hotel room. Everything was clean, the room was comfortable to stay in. Everyone was nice. It is in a very convenient area of town, next to other hotels, HEB, food and dining, Walmart all within a 2-5 minute drive! Our only problem was with check in. My daughter and I were meeting my Husband and her father for a weekend stay (He is Military) We arrived first and checked in. We literally spent 30 minutes trying to get two room keys that opened our door. Our daughter has to do Nebulizer treatments every 4hrs, she is sick and 11 months old. That wasn’t even a reason for them to speed up and fix the problem. The hotels main master key worked on our door multiple times as they let us in and out for luggage. The last time we needed in to do a Neb TX we waited 11 minutes outside our hotel door for them to let us in. At the 30-45 minute mark the maintenance man came and changed the entire door handle for a new one and we got two working keys. What I don’t understand is how their master key, that looks just like the room keys I was given, worked to let us in multiple times when I went in and out for luggage? But they somehow couldn’t get us a working key until they changed the entire damn doorknob and why this wasn’t addressed until 45 minutes in. Other than a frustrating check in with room keys and a very noticeable sick baby, everything was fixed and our weeeknd stay was perfect.

Walked in and the recliner was broken, not a big deal but didn’t want to be stuck with a bill for a recliner that my family hadn’t even touched. Went to shower and the drain was down due to also being broken. The room maybe should have been taken out of service for these couple small repairs.

We liked that it was close to the family were in town to visit. Nice outside, the interior was clean as well as the room. We always greeting when we come in or as we were leaving.

The clerk was by herself for the first night on Christmas night She clearly didn’t know anything about the place and couldn’t help me with any questions She had multiple difficulties getting Lee checked in She was sweet she just didn’t know what she was doing. First I discovered the ice machine wasn’t working and there isn’t an ice machine I had to prompt her to look in an empty room to get me some ice

Clean, quiet stay!
This hotel is nestled amongst a bunch of other that appears to be frequented by traveling soldiers. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful! What the don’t list on the web site is that you can get breakfast vouchers and go next door to the holiday inn and eat for free!

Carpet ripped up, stains on pillow cases, got locked out of our room and had to go back downstairs to fix it. It was very underwhelming considering most Candlewoods are nice. Definitely not worth the prime.
