Hotel needs update.

The bathroom door would not close properly and the tub was up too high. You had to climb over as if you were climbing over a fallen redwood on a trail in the forest. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and knowlagable.

Lots of little things

There were 5 of us, that stayed six nights at the LaQuinta Killeen. The beds were super comfy, rooms were reasonably quiet, and the price was right. There are a few small things that I would like to address, however. 1- At check in, we were taken care of by Stephanie - the woman was awesome! Very sweet and professional. 2 - There was hair all over the shower. NOT MINE! 3- Our truck was broken into, and we had about $1200 in tools stolen. The "manager" at the front desk was NO help. The only thing she said was, "call the police" . She didn't even give me the number, I had to look it up myself! NOT COOL. 4- on day three, we decided to use the microwave. There were hotdogs wrapped in foil inside. They were not ours, we do not eat hot dogs. GROSS!! Keep in mind that the room had been cleaned every day since we arrived. NOBODY saw this! Disgusting. Although the beds were very comfy, Stephanie was great, and the place was 5 minutes from base (where my son is), ant the pool and lobby are spotless, I will not be staying there again.

The hotel was fine location wise. Very well lit. My room floor was rather disgusting. Had to make everyone keep shoes on otherwise bottom of our feet were black in minutes. The tub was a little dirty. Other than that the room was clean enough. I would say this La Quinta is in a lot poorer condition than most and not necessarily worth the price. The breakfast provided was good with plenty of choices just a serious lack of seating available.

Nice room beds were very comfy. Shower was super sort. I'm 6'2" the shower head was about 8" under my head and I could touch the ceiling if I stood on my toes.

Hotel room was clean. Staff was rude. Always on phone and short to answer when questions were asked. Continental breakfast was meh.

Staff was very friendly & helpful. Rooms were older and could use some updates but were clean & comfortable. I was visiting Fort Hood & the location was great, only a 5 minute drive.
