“Good deal”

We were there as Art & Craft vendors at the National Cornbread Festival in South Pittsburgh. The hotel was very convient and clean.

When to go
The National Cornbread Festival 5 miles west in S.Pittsburgh TNis a great family event. Usually the last weekend in April. There are Arts/Crafts featuring artist from surrounding areas. Live entertainment all weekend, starting with a Street Dance on Friday evening. Kiddie Zone, with activities for children. Cornbread Alley, featurin samples of all kinds of cornbread. In 2010 one of the favorites was "Berry Cornbread". Don't forget to have some Cornbead Salad!. Sunday morning there is a pancake breakfast. Many food vendors and finally a Carnival. Plan your trip for 2011, the festival will begin Friday evening April 29 with the street dance. All other activities start Saturday morning at 9 AM Central Standard Time.

“Quite, peaceful and great people”

Not sure what to expect at a Super 8. we were very pleasantly surprised. Everything from the front desk check-in till the last day check-out went very smoothly. Nice. clean room in complete working order, very friendly people on site and a very good extended breakfast. We will be back.

Traveler's tip
So restful. Beautiful mountains all around. About 15 or 20 miles from Chattanooga. Easy drive to get away from a days adventure or a late evening supper.
