roomPosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: not much of anything
Cons: continental breakfast or just coffee would have been nice.
Location: the eating places were not what I expected and only really had fast foods.
the room was too small for two beds and it did not have any sitting place except on the bed. don't think I would stay there again

Went to Caushatta for the weekend and this hotel was the only one with availability. It was so bad that I had to sleep in my truck and only went in to use the toliet

the experience was ok. the parking lot needs some work. It took longer than I wanted to fall asleep, due to the loud tv next door that was clear to hear thru the wall

Was pleasantly surprise, clean and close to my family.. There were not many eateries, but the one (FAUSTO'S restaurant) that was there the food good , prices reasonable and friendly too. The hotel was friendly and professional.

Do not stay herePosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place looks nothing like the pictures. I pulled up and immediately called Hotels.com to see if I could get out of the reservation. I unfortunately could not get out of the reservation because the hotel has a policy of 24 hr notice prior to cancellation. I even sat in my car for a while looking up and calling other hotels in the area, and all others that seemed of better quality were booked. It was this hotel or the car for the night. I could not believe the condition of the room. It was so terribly bad that I refused to use the tub or shower (there was hair in the tub) and stood up to use the toilet. The toilet was dingy I didn't even use the towels in the room, rather used my own shirt and the water from the sink to wash myself. I thought about sleeping in the chair but that was stained with only God knows what. I slept in my clothes, including socks. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had in a room.

The price to value was worth it.Posted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
Stayed the night while enjoying Coushatta. Had a fridge to keep things cool, bed wasn't bad, and the air blew cool. Have paid more within the area and the conditions be worse.

It is bare bones minimum but good for the price.Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The couple who ran the place. Polite, friendly, efficient. For the price, it was a good deal.
Cons: There was nothing in the small lobby that I could eat; however, given the price and the tiny size of the lobby, there's not much else they could do.
Location: If you go up the road towards Coushatta, there is an eatery called Fausto's. The food is delicious. The atmosphere early swamp meets LSU fanatic.
Quiet and clean. Older couple who run and clean the place are charming. No noise from other rooms, even though the place was almost full. Easy to control air conditioning unit. Fast Wi-Fi. We had forgotten what it was like to park right outside the door! Just don't have high expectations - you get one bath towel, one washcloth, and one pillow per person; one hand towel, one lamp and one coffee cup per room. Breakfast is cereal and/or packaged pastry. No protein, no juice. Everything was exactly as advertised. Location is a couple of miles down the road from Coushatta, not far. Place is being spruced up a bit. The doors were being painted a bright red, which will help it to stand out and distinguish it from a similar motel on the other side of the tuff shed retailer. Ice machine was kaput but soft drink machine worked. There are an iron and an ironing board in the room, along with a coffee pot. We did not watch television, but there is an older model set in the room.
