I frequently drive between LA and Albuquerque, but I never stayed here before. Actually, it is quite an interesting hotel. It is a couple miles off the I-40 corridor, obviously constructed before I-40 was completed. Hollywood apparently did a lot of work out in this area prior to the 80's and before I-40 was completed, because several of the rooms have plaques on the door that give the names of various movie stars and celebrities that once stayed in a particular room. This was the high point of my stay. Otherwise, the hotel was very dated and worn out, although it was acceptably clean, and the staff was pleasant. So, if you interested in Hollywood history, you won't get hurt staying here. Also, you can avoid a lot of the lowlife that stay in the hotels closer to the freeway. However, if you are looking for a clean and more modern hotel, stay elsewhere. WIFI was decent for a hotel, however.

NON Quality Inn HotelPosted Oct 15, 2013
Pros: The breakfast. The setting would be nice if they spent some money to fix the place up.
Cons: A thorough cleaning, paint job inside and out. Working equipment that I spent the extra bucks to get would be nice.
Location: I was only there for one night. Went out to ear at a good restaurant.
Room not as advertised...it was consistent with the run down appearance of the outside. Carpet & bathtub filthy. Door lock would not lock from outside. Pillows were the worst ever. Exercise room was a joke, nothing worked because it was just plain old and dead. NO jaccuzi or sauna on premises. This was the worst Quality Inn I have ever stayed at. On a positive...the breakfast was good!

Old but goodPosted Oct 9, 2013
Its an older style hotel with external access but the rooms are clean but very dated. On the plus side it is cheap and if its hot there is a pool. The train line is not far away and you will hear it but it won't keep you awake. There is a good steakhouse nearby and also a Walgreen's and post office within walking distance. Most other things in the town are further away so it there is something specific you want to be near you way want to stay closer to it. I ts a place to rest your head after a day on the road its not a destination that you'd actively seek out.

Great for an overnight stay during travel.Posted Aug 28, 2013
Front desk (Jamie) was very helpful and found us rooms close together. We were greeted at breakfast by a delightful woman named Maryann. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for rest before getting back on the road the next morning.

Terrible room. Hairs on the sheets and a questionable stain too. Old hotel and poor location.

A surprising 5 stars service from a 2 stars hotelPosted Jul 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived at 1 am. but the lady at the front desk was nice and cheery. She gave us a bunch of maps for our trip to Grand Canyon. The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast is decent and the server (who's from SF) is also a very friendly person. Overall, this is a very well run hotel at decent price.

Overall, Good, but could use some improvements.Posted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The price was good, but the hotel could use some repair. The AC worked good. The bathtub had grime on the bottom and the stairs could use some repair.
