Very quiet hotelPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Quiet place espacially when you need, to relax after a hard day of work.
Cons: Yes, may be give more tip about shopping center and more choice of restaurants.
Good services, for sure i will comme back. I event tell my collegue to go at this hotel. My english is not perfect and staff try to help me or explain me some words for my understanding.

Cozy but datedPosted Apr 2, 2014
Cons: Update the decor.
Location: Short drive to downtown
Staff were friendly and courteous but hotel decor made me feel like it was the seventies. The bathroom was modern and clean however so give credit where it is due. Buffet breakfast was not so good but included in price of room. We expected more for the price.

Nice, clean room - hotel itself disappointingPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: the bed was nice.
Cons: The restaurant, the food and the front desk staff. The breakfast staff (which I think is different from the restaurant staff) were very nice.
The restaurant onsite carries bar food, and looks like a pub. The breakfast food was terrible, and some of the cereal dispensers were broken. No water was available in the self serve breakfast, so had to ask for it -- when it came, the taste of it made me wish I hadn't asked for it. Room was very comfortable, but there was a freezing draft that comes from the sides of the fireplace so you have to run the fireplace if you want the room to stay warm during these winter months.

Ok, but......Posted Mar 16, 2014
Location: I was pleased because it is close to family.
We stayed one night in this hotel while visiting family. Since our event was going on from 3 pm to 11 pm, I called to ask for an early admission time, but was told it would not be possible so we had to leave our family event to book in to the hotel. I was hoping for a little flexibility in their check-in time. When we got back to the hotel late evening, we discovered that our fireplace did not work because it was missing a knob to turn it on. The desk told me the next day that they would look into it - hopefully they did. The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable.

An OK hotelPosted Mar 14, 2014
Hotel staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The hotel itself (décor etc) is a bit too rustic for my liking. I prefer something more contemporary. Also I found the rooms a bit cramped, though the fireplace was a nice touch.

Pleasant place well located for travelers.Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: I've stayed at many hotels, the Best Western Fireside Inn is one of the best for value, quality, comfort, location and services.
Cons: The front desk manager could have offered more information during check-in.
Location: Access to Via Rail Sta., Car rentals, the downtown area and the 401 hwy. was very convenient.
I stayed two nights. My room had a king-sized four poster bed, love seat, arm chair, beautiful fireplace, large screen TV, desk, refrigerator, safe, closet, bathroom. There were many little extras that gave a beauty to the room. It was very clean and there was a unit to control the heat. Parking was included. Room rates were very reasonable.

Weekend GetawayPosted Mar 3, 2014
Cons: Not a lot really.
Location: It is pretty central with a comedy club right next door and a mall five minutes away.
My wife and I just decided to get away for just a weekend. We had stayed at this Best Western before and decided to stay there again. So, obviously, we like the hotel and the staff. It is very nice and the staff is incredible. Whether dining at the Bistro or the quiet side at Tom's, it is always a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

It is a pleasure to rate this Hotel.Posted Mar 3, 2014
Cons: If I had to be very picky ....I would have a dresser with drawers instead of a desk .
Location: There is the largest Mall in Kingston. Not too far from the University.
Very comfortable rooms, they have thought of all the little things ie: one was a night light between the bed and the bathroom., another is having creamers in the refrigerator. We know the linen is clean because they had a duvet with a washable cover, really comfy bed. The restaurant and Pub served very good food and the service was great even thought the pub was full of patrons. The dining was superb in a more formal setting. Our compliments to the Chef. We are planning to go back soon!

Casual buffet staff.Posted Mar 2, 2014
Liked the room #229 as it was quiet, clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was also good, but could have done without the loud casual chatter between the breakfast staff, like "you can keep the tips" in a loud voice. Otherwise, nice hotel, waiter in Bistro was excellent.
