I was pleased surprised when I found this gem, the staff is so sweet and amazing. The potatoes at breakfast are SOOOOOOO good but they had a lot of breakfast options. The one thing I really loved about this place was the pool/arcade/gym area. The pool was warm (I like it warmer but I’m naturally always cold lol) the gym had glass windows that would overlook the pool and the arcade was in the area beside the pool. It was a cute “Central Park” vibe. The arcade takes cash only and so does the front desk but they have an atm right there so Apple Pay users may have to wait a few years but honestly it’s not so bad. Everything was cheap. We took a ride on the Catskills train which was super cute and fun for the little ones. Dietz diner is a 10/10 and 3 minutes away. The pizzeria in front was also very very good. The rooms were very clean as well, I ALWAYS check behind the bed and it was clean for sure. I going to come back because of how much I loved the place!!!

Freezer didn’t work our food we got for freezer melted . Front desk was very helpful. But kinda sucks that they have appliances or amenities that don’t work.

Pool was great. Arcade a hit with the kids, although the hotel doesn’t take responsibility for broken machines and ate a bunch of our tokens. Moody candy in one of the prize machines, not surprising, but gross. Room was okay, but there were ants. Staff kind and helpful.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Felt safe and it was very quiet. The bathroom in the room, the ac and heating system, need to be updated. The elevator by the lobby needs up dating bad. Feels like your going to go through the fall. The hall felt dark. Needs a little up dating.

Lighting was poor around the building especially in the rear. As an older female traveling alone I look for better lighting. Also parking at the entrance was extremely limited.

Everything was good until the next morning when the power went out! Everything was pitch black I couldn’t do anything I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see.

There was hair and food on the surfaces in my room. The shower had hair in it. I found a cockroach/ bug on the wall and floor. Pee stains on my toilet seat. Glad I bring my own cleaning supplies with me. Pool was dirty.

I loved the pool and the buffet breakfast. It was New Year's eve, so many people in and out on the hallway. Just wished they had parties at the venues only instead of the arcade/pool space, which was closer to my window because I had trouble putting my baby to sleep.

The area off the courtyard is for all guests and does close down by 10pm. We are sorry your stay was impacted. We do also offer rooms not facing the center courtyard if you want to try us again.

My room was comfortable and clean and check in was fast and easy. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, a great stay. I would just add that the hotel was very dark. Dark wood and dark brown carpeting - it didn't give a welcoming vibe. I would suggest some renovations to brighten up the space and make it more appealing and inviting.

It seemed a little dirty and and definitely needs to be remodeled. I have been staying here on New Year’s Eve for 20 years . And it smelled like a dead mouse in my room when I got there . I had to go buy air freshener. I had never experienced this in the past.

It was functional in a pinch, but double the price of what it should have been. It also looked like someone tried to break into the room a few times with all the scratch marks around the door bolt. Mildly sketchy and not worth the $190 price tag

Very strange service. We tired to eat at the bistro for dinner around 6. No body approached us for seating. No waiter. We ended up leaving to get food after a very long drive. The floors were not vacuumed in hallways and stairwells. Lots of cob webs in room. Beds were thankfully clean. Will not be returning.

Ni, who greeted us upon arrival, was very helpful not only upon arrival/check in but throughout our stay. Breakfast was hot, clean, well stocked with a great selection. Tables were always clean, setting was very comfortable and food was good. Hats off to Best Western in Kingston!

The doors slam all night with people coming and going. They heard all dogs into one hallway where the dogs pick up other dogs scents. There is barking and growling. I switched rooms for the second night, same hallway but I came home from that trip absolutely exhausted after not getting any sleep for two nights in a row.

At this time we do have one wing with easy access to an entrance. This wing is in demand and will often have multiple rooms with pets. We are sorry this disturbed your stay. I required immediate access to my reserved room upon arrival for a variety of reasons and the hotel manager saw to it that I could be assisted in this need without any additional charges. An early check in is not the same as being able to use and access the room upon arrival. It was important that this be clarified and I was able to reach the manager or I would have had to cancel my trip.

The staff were nice but the facility really needs an upgrade. The smoke alarm in my room when off due to dead batteries, the shower faucet came off in my hand, The ceiling had large patches where the texture had fallen off and it had not been repaired properly. Even the crown molding was poorly fitted with huge misalignments.
