The hotel itself was nice, however the pool and gym were closed due to renovations. I brought my kids on a ski trip from New Jersey and the one reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and hot tub after skiing. It’s inexcusable that Expedia does not give you that information prior to booking. I’ve been a long time customer to Expedia but no longer.

Housekeeping would try to clean the room at 830am, way before check-out, however, if not checking out, housekeeping would never come to clean the room. The woman working the coffee bar was very rude and not personable at all. She acted like we were inconveniencing her by trying to utilize the services.

We took a suite. I informed the manager that there ;was no closet rod; it was difficult to open and close front door (carpet pile too high); no coffee table so nowhere to eat a meal; poor lighting for reading in bed. I actually expected her to offer a discount or at least an apology. She just kept saying "we're being renovated".

Hilary, Good morning! I’m not sure where the disconnect is between my apology and an explanation regarding your complaint. Our new rooms will not have coffee tables. Our entire hotel is under renovation. no part of the hotel is 100% complete yet. I am truly sorry that you did not have a hanger bar in your closet. However, as I have stated in several other responses, it is being installed this week. All your other concerns are being addressed during our renovation, if you have any further comments or questions, please feel free to call me and we can speak about this again. Thank you.

my plans were changed and i couldn't get there. tried to cancel a week ahead and they told me no refund. A week ahead is plenty of time to re-book the room. that really stinks. Not my choice to stay again. Oh, and if I'm not wrong i paid for a room that could be canceled if needed. That was ignored as well. Pretty shabby

It was fine, staff was lovely, just a lot of little things weren’t well maintained or designed. Drippy shower head, shower wallpaper peeling because hot showers, not enough electric plugs near bed, only two tissues in tissue box, no USB ports. A bit out of date and needing a freshen-up. It’s not near uptown or downtown, it’s in the mall area, yet there’s no safe way to walk to the many restaurant offerings on the strip. In sum: reasonably priced and quite acceptable, just not great.

Melissa,Thank you for your review.. We too are disappointed with our indoor mall being mostly vacant. There are new medical offices on the south side of the "mall" with Target, Dicks and a few other stores on the north side. We are very interested to see what they will do next with the rest of it. It's simply crazy how many stores are closing all around the country! If you come visit the area again, we would be happy to show you some more of our local shopping offerings!

The staff team were really welcoming and extremely helpful – well done everybody! The one big negative issue was the lack of appropriate facilities for anybody like to be in a wheelchair. Despite being fertilised as ADA compliant, there were no grab rails in the shower, no didn’t have a secure seat. The level of my bed, relative to the height of my wheelchair was too high – I only just got safely onto the bed. These difficulties are no reflection of the staff, who are a great bunch, they need to be addressed by senior management. It would have been helpful to have a safe in the room.

Thank you for your visit. Target is located on a separate piece of property about 300 yards away from our hotel. We are also near Walmart, Sam's Club and many other stores, as we are in a business district. Marriott has many other properties that are located in more remote areas. They gave us room 220 which is right next to the elevator, the elevator had a door like it was a room and was less than 2 ft from the room door. We asked to be moved, the lady downstairs made a comment but still changed our room to 338. We get to room 338, only to find that someone was already occupying the room. Thank God they weren’t in the room when we entered. She then asked us to come down and changed our room. We checked out and I was charged $350 because allegedly my room “reeked” of marijuana. We don’t smoke marijuana and even if we did, we wouldn’t be dumb enough to do it in a hotel with signs warning that even if you smell like marijuana coming from outside you would be fined! They fine you for smelling like a legal drug and falsely accuse you of doing it on their premises. The hotel carpets are dirty and run down. The room was good not great.

Unfortunately Natasha, we were unable to sell your room after your stay. Sometimes we can give a little leeway on these charges, but when the room is unsellable after someone stays in it, we have to follow through with the fine.

There was no way to control the air conditioner which was on all of the time snd I was cold. The TV was old and hard to operate. There was mold on the wall - high behind the TV - probably from the a/c running so much.

Nice Stay
It's a beautiful property. The room was clean and had a coffee maker with fridge. The tv selections were wonderful and supermarkets are close to stock up. They have a breakfast bar and you can purchase small meals. There's complementary Starbucks coffee. In either direction on the Avenue there's a Starbucks half a mile away. The pool area is well kept with lounge chairs and a spa tub is to the side. The fitness room is a smaller version of the gym I go to. It was a very nice stay.

When u get out of the elevator on the second floor you are greeted by a stench of spoiled food, old laundry and poop. The smell lingers into the room. While the room was big and seemed recent, the small couch in the corner had a massive white stain that seemed recent and just ignored by staff

The property & Staff were excellent. Its hard to find good courteous worker. Everyone was supper kind. Would stay here again. I was a woman by myself & felt safe. The rooms were clean & beds super comfortable.

The hotel was okay, the fridge didn’t work in our room and we were told by the staff that they werent replacing any broken equipment since they were planning to undergo a renovation soon which we totally get but we had items that needed to be kept cold which resulted in us having to put items over ice which isn’t something we should have to do when paying for a room. Also, the hot tub paint was chipping and I stubbed my toe on the filter cover because it was sticking above ground and there was nothing posted on this and I’ve never seen any design like that anywhere else so wasn’t expecting it.
