Great Sleep!

Outdated building and old furniture, but bed mattresses were extremely comfortable! Good for a short stay and the Denny's attached is open late with great service and food.

Walking Back In Time

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Location was convenient to highway and ferry.
Cons: The dated feel of everything.
Location: Close to both highway and ferry.
I understand Kingston is a historical place, but this hotel feels very dated. I felt like I was walking backward in time.

Stay at Days Inn in Kingston ON

Posted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Denny's restaurant, sliding glass doors at street level, manager did give us a $25.00 discount due to the room condition.
Cons: house keeping, spray for mosquitos, upgrade fixtures and furniture
Location: close to a shopper's drug mart and 401
We were very disappointed in this hotel....we arrived to find the room dirty and not clean, there was pee on the bathroom floor, the manager came to clean the bathroom which we appreciated but she did not have a mop she just had a rag and a spray bottle of cleaner. After she was finished the pee spots were still on the floor.....our room was filled with mosquitoes....we spent a great deal of our time swatting mosquitoes...we got in late at night and were tired and did not enjoy our extra buzzing guests.

More of a motel then a hotel

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: The fact that it was attached to a Deny's
Cons: Colouring. Just seemed so dark and old. Gave the place a run down sort of feel.
Location: Was there for a basketball tournament. There's a movie theatre across the street and a outlet mall to do some shopping.
Was in a lurch as we were in the city for my son's basketball tournament. Didn't have a room booked and got this last minute. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, as the style was more of a motel style than a hotel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean, but it had a run down sort of feel to it. If you're looking for a place to crash for a couple days then this will definitely fulfill that role.
