“I will stay there on every trip. I found it to be very impressive”
From entrance to the time I left was very comfortable and a safe environment. I left valuables in my room and came to find them untouched. My lining was change as I request. The only issue I had with the hotel was the wifi. My iphone was not able to connect at the hotel wifi. The employees were very respectable and help.
“Excellent hotel in the heart of Kingston”
I was very pleased with my stay at the Spanish Court Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made you feel welcome. None of the aloofness you get at some hotels was present here. Everyone said hello and smiled. The room was very clean. My girlfriend is extremely neat and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Wireless Internet was fast. The TV was a very nice flat screen with plenty of channels. The shower was big and also very clean. The fridge in the room kept things cold. The AC worked fine and wasn't too noisy. The location is close to the heart of New Kingston with dining and shopping within a short distance. There is also a well-stocked grocery store directly across the street from the hotel. For US$25 the hotel will sort a van to pick you up at the airport. You pay the driver directly so make sure you have cash on hand. I paid with US$ when I arrived and with Jamaican $ when I left. Each trip was US$25 and very much worth it. If you've never driven on the right side of the road in a right side drive car, Kingston is NOT the place to learn. The drivers are fast and aggressive and the roads can be quite confusing. Ending up in the wrong part of Kingston can be extremely dangerous in the day and even more so at night. Pay the money and let someone else deal with the driving in Kingston. If you are staying in Kingston, you can't go wrong with the Spanish Court.
“Best hotel in Kingston”
This hotel is not the cheapest option in Kingston, but certainly the best.
“Impressed, recommended”
The Spanish Court is very new, so it was difficult to find reviews before we went to Kingston. It's aimed at the business traveller, and all the facilities are top class. The buffet breakfast was a simple spread - but ample to keep us going all day. Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Location handy to shops and Red Bones Blues Cafe.
“A touch of class in the heart of Kingston”
The Spanish Court is the right place for a quiet stay in busy Kingston. The rooms are spacious, very moderm, luxurious and comfortable. It is indeed very reasonably priced. This is not a hotel with night life or known for its resturant, its lodging however is definitely 4 star quality.
“Very impressed with this hotel”
The pictures on the website matched my room perfectly. The room was very clean and I liked that I received a drink upon my arrival. The continental breakfast was good and offered a lot of variety. The staff was helpful and nice. The next time I go to Kingston the Spanish Court Hotel will be my first choice.
“Very Nice Hotel in Kingston”
Spanish Court is a new hotel well located in the New Kingston area. Staff is nice and the building and room appointments are new and fresh. Large screen LCD TV. Good sound conditioning. Didn't try the food except the breakfast (not so hot). I will definitely stay there again.
“I'll Be BACK!!!!!!!!”
The staff at the Spanish Court were really caring. Due to the size of the hotel, the staff were easily able to identify their guest by name, which added to the homeliness of the place.The breakfast each morning was really good as they strived to provide their guest with a choice of ethnic foods along with the traditional american cuisine (for those who care for it). Everyone was just marvelous.
“Best Bang for your buck" hotel in Kingston”
This hotel had everything you can ask and wish for The food at the restaurant was very good and authentic , especially all the soups. The staff was extremely friendly and the printing of documents from your room was an excellent facility. The selection of wines was not that great , but overall , I would recommend this hotel to any one . All the major places to visit are within 10 minutes distance. Great place to stay
“St. Andrew”
Customer support was fantastic. Each front desk person was personable and showed real care. The wait staff on the patio deck went over board to provide comfort. The first few days at breakfast, the coffee service could have been better, however, after making an observation to one staff member -the next day there was no shortcomings. Very professional and well trained staff.
