Pros: Location, view and spa.
Location: Great shopping just a few miles away. Nice safe community.
Love this resort because it is close to world class shopping but feels like you have left the city.

Location is great. Fantastic lake view. Only 20 min to downtown seattle. Room is clean and spa like. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole stay was wonderful. Will definite stay here next time around.

Wonderful experience-very pleased with the quality

Staff was especially welcoming. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the water for our four night stay. Glad to have the extra space for our stay. Very comfortable bed and loved the thick towels. Location was perfect for visiting downtown Seattle and Mt Ranier. We enjoyed going into downtown Kirkland for dinner when we chose to not eat on the property .

Relaxing and beautiful view!

The Hotel is gorgeous. Valet staff was friendly and cost was very affordable. Paid extra for a King Bed with a Lake View and get to our room and we had 2 queens. Called the front desk and all they said is, unfortunately your room isn't always guaranteed when you book through Expedia. I've never had that happen before. If I pay $50 more for a nicer room regardless where I book it, I expect what I was confirmed and quoted. My fiancé is 6'2" and a king would have been more comfortable. Upon check out I encountered the same attitude about why my room wasn't what was confirmed to me and at least thought they'd offer to give me a discount at the end. Needless to say, I've stayed at hotels with way better Customer Service and nicer amenities for the price. Won't be booking there again anytime soon.

Honeymoon Stay

We sent our kids to The Woodmark for their honeymoon. The hotel accommodations and SPA were great. The staff however, screwed up on processing my credit card as it was our gift to the kids and called them 4 times in their room on their honeymoon night demanding payment. They had my credit information and phone number on file and did not call me, but bothered the Bride & Groom instead- relentlessly. After I emailed the credit card authorization form to them 2 times THAT NIGHT, they had my daughter come down to their office and print out on her cell phone a copy of the form because they were having computer issues. They should not have had to spend their honeymoon night trying to correct a problem made by the hotel. They could have waited unti lthe next morning to figure out their computer issues. They did not even give them a complementary breakfast or bottle of wine for all the time wasted. I am very upset needless to say.

Loved the Woodmark

Pros: The staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. Probably had the best cappuccino I've ever had at their Beach Cafe. Will definitely be going back.
Location: Wonderful restaurants, downtown Kirkland is a nice walk away.
Went for a de-stressing weekend, which is exactly what I got. The atmosphere is wonderful, the grounds are gorgeous, and if you go definitely ask the desk to schedule a boat ride with Rob on the Woodmark's Chris Craft. I can't wait to go back.
