Room for improvementPosted Aug 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall, a nice hotel. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Nice facilities. We had a few minor problems with our room, however. Some of the linens had ugly stains. The bed sagged and was uncomfortable - which I've come to expect at most hotels. They also mistakenly deactivated our key cards after the first night - so our keys stopped working and we had to get the front desk to give us new keys. We stayed here due to its proximity to the Africa Lion Safari park. It's close, but not too close... about a 20-25 min. drive.

We had a good experience overall, breakfast and dinner were pretty good and we had a 4 yr old who was extremely thrilled to play in the swimming pool. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for families

Very Positive ExperiencePosted Mar 18, 2013
Spent one night at the hotel with grandparents and kids. Convenient location and clean, comfortable environment. Service was warm and accommodating. In particular cleaning/housekeeping staff in pool area and suite were helpful and they clearly demonstrated their committment to customer service - very impressive! Inclusion of complimentary dinner and breakfast a real bonus - I thought the price was good before I knew meals were included! Food selection and presentation better than many other hotels. Pool area was clean and kid friendly. Would definately return.

Greeted with a friendly smile at front desk....great variety for complimentary breakfast in the morning....technical difficulities with movie selection but staff was able to quickly rectify...jets did not work in whirlpool but clean, pool heated and clean....firedrill during our stay, had to evacuate the building but staff came around and told us it was a false alarm, very disruptive, yet would go back due to the friendly/helpful staff!

Overall, great hotel. Just a few suggestionsPosted Jul 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel and staff we very nice. King suite was quite roomy and well laid out. There are only 2 things about the room that I (or rather, my husband) would like to see altered. The fan in our bathroom was not working and the toilet paper was a rather, umm, thrifty one ply. I'm sure the bathrooms in all the rooms had fans, ours just wasn't working and it ould have been nice to see a good quality toilet paper in the bathroom. With all the fuss this hotel and staff has gone to to ensure a comfortable and pleasent stay, we just thought that a good quality tp would have been a given. A variety of breakfast items every morning made sure you didn't start your day hungry. Everything from cereal, toast, muffins, fresh fruit and yogurt to eggs with ham, bacon or sausage to make your own waffles was available each morning. Of course fresh ice water, apple juice and orange juice we available along with robust, regular and decaf coffe and Red Rose and herbal teas. A hot and delish dinner is served from Monday to Thurday night. On our stay, the first night meal was sauted veggies, rice, refried beans and wraps and on the other night it was chilli (mild and hot), rice, potato and broccoli and cheese. The staff were neat, friendly and helpful and always wore smiles. Overall a great hotel. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

MediocrePosted Jun 4, 2012
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Reception seemed to be run by a someone who just graduated from college. Didn't know how to handle an Expedia booking.
Location: In the middle of nowhere.
Felt that by booking through Expedia that I was a "second class citizen". No newspaper delivered to my door (although others got theirs), etc., etc. Overall, not a particularly pleasant stay.
