Cons: Have both right and left handed putters available to be borrowed for use on the putting green.
The staff were very welcoming, nice and efficient. The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. I personally found the beds quite firm and did not sleep very comfortably and, for this reason only, would not stay here again. If you prefer a firm mattress this would be a great hotel to stay in.

Fair Price in Guelph

Pros: We got a pretty good rate and the staff arranged for a check-in time that was a little earlier than posted.
Cons: The bathroom needed a dusting and a vacuum cleaner appearance. Some wear is starting to show.
Location: A car is needed to get to and from this location. It is not really within walking distance of any attractions.
The experience was satisfactory. The studio room design was very functional and the breakfast was fine. The hotel is a little isolated but nothing is really that far away in Guelph.

Great room, good price, wonderful city

Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Good beer for sale for reasonable prices. Food was different each day, and was of a high quality. Wonderful room cleaned daily. Hotel is less than a 5 minute drive down the street from supermarkets, a gym and fast food. Conveniently located near Guelph University

Quick overnight visit to Guelph to visit family

Pros: Service - excellent
Cons: New carpet, new beds, new sofa etc.
Location: Very central. 4 kilometers into Guelph. Easy access to highway and City.
Excellent front staff, clean pleasant lobby, great amenities. Would be a 5 out of 5 but the room, furniture (beds in particular) and decor quite dated make it a 3 out of 5 for me.

Terrible customer service

I booked this hotel and did not realize it was a king size bed. Was staying with my daughter for her graduation. Hotel tried to charge me $25 more. The cost on the internet was $15. They were really unaccommodating for being in this industry and did not seem to care. Room was not very special either. Furnishings were a dated.

Guest satisfaction is a top priority at the Staybridge and I am extremely disappointed to hear that we have fallen short of your expectations. It is procedure that if a guest books a studio suite at a prepaid rate and requests an additional bed, we will offer one of our studio suites equipped with a pull-out couch at no additional charge as long as we have one available. If the guest would prefer to have a one bedroom suite with two double beds we can offer this room type, however, an upgrade fee of $25+tax per night is charged as it is an upgraded room from the standard studio suite. I do apologize if this was not communicated clearly to you when you came to check in. I apologize again for your experience and I hope we will have another opportunity to show you that customer service is extremely important to us and any issues experienced are not the "norm" for our hotel. Great Stay

Pros: The staff above everything. You can get a nice bed, hot breakfast and clean rooms at other locations. The friendly and informative people.

Location: Just straight down the road from the hotel are food stores, banks, restaurants and movie theaters. You can travel to Toronto or Niagara on the lakes
We used the Staybridge Guelph facility as our home base for vacation for three days. This was our first stay at a Staybridge Suite location and found this was a great choice. The room was actually two separate rooms, a bedroom and family room with small kitchen unit. The staff was great explaining how to get to various locations, print guides, exchanging money, and restaurants. The breakfast each morning was hot with a variety of items to select. On future travels we will select a Staybridge location when possible.

Worth the price

Pros: room was very nice.
Cons: Pool size.
We had a suite, it was expensive, but for one night it was worth it. The pool is very small.

checked into the hotel. did not know there was a 250.00 deposit required for damages up front I do not own a credit card. then got to room to find used towels still in the bathroom, went down to the front desk to complain about and all that was done was a new towel replaced. Checked out sunday morning and again mentioned to the front desk about the towels and my disappointment, the clerk said she would have a manager call me in regards to my stay, still waiting for someone to call. Overall very disappointed and will not likely go back for a repeat stay.
