All average. Good place to Olympic National ParkPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was all rather average. It was a good base to explore Olympic national park though, being about 1.5-2hrs away. The property itself is situated next to another apartment block that looks like it has seen better days and across from a 'memorial garden', in front of a highway. ... it was a 5-10min drive to Dennys and other restaurants, as well as a 24hr supermarket... and across the street from the local 'memorial garden'. Nowhere near the water ... as some past reviews had given me the impression it was close to water. The service on check-in was a little cool. Professional... not particularly welcoming..... mostly just functional. We were given a room on the first floor... which is well, down 3 floors from the lobby area (on 4th floor) on the far end of the building. It is only served by one lift lobby ... and it broke down twice in the 2 nights we were there and we had to climb flights up and down . if you are driving, the carpark gets crowded at night... Our room itself was ok... a bit dark at times. The furnishing showed some age but was generally ok, as was the toilet. The balconies were bare concrete. Upkeep was generally ok though it seems they don't iron the sheets so everything was a bit crumpled. By day... it was all good. The complimentary breakfast was actually very decent. In conclusion, I would say it was ok ... decent ... but not particularly enjoyable. Just a functional stay.

A great value! Welcoming staff. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast while overlooking the beautiful Puget Sound. Overall a great stay!

disappointed that for the amount of military, who live in and around Bremerton that no military discount was given to me! and that the front desk told me check out time was noon, and the maids virtually demanded that we leave at 10:30 am! We had a wedding to go to and was trying to suck up as much time as possible, prior to the wedding and relocating to Navy Lodging! Excellent breakfasts however!!! Could have used some literature about eating, activities in the area as well as a listing of TV stations....VERY DISAPPOINTED, that for the size of the hotel, there was no SWIMMING POOL FOR THE GRAND DAUGHTER! :(((((

Pleasant stayPosted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: Quiet even though full to capacity Friday night.
Cons: Improve by installing a small pet potty area, and repair to pool for utilization.
Location: I was at at South Kitsap Alumni Picnic on Saturday at Otto Jarstad Park, and family reunion Sunday at Silverdale Waterfront park. Both were close.
Disappointed that we pay $15.00 per day for pet friendly, but there is no potty area for them to utilize.

Over the weekend stay.Posted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Baymont over the weekend in two rooms. Older remodeled hotel, remodeled area is very nice. Cleaning service did not make the bed in one of the rooms and the patio was full of cigarette butts. On checking out we mentioned the issues with positive response on taking care of the issues. Breakfast was good!

Out of the way, but not too farPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was only there for one night, but the room was clean and comfortable and looked like the photos on the website. I really liked the soft squishy pillows on the beds. There was a strange odor in the closet, but since I was only there one night, I didn't feel like asking for another room. The property is sandwiched between a highway and a graveyard, and I got a room on the graveyard side which was nice and quiet. The business center did not have a working copy of Microsoft office on it though, so I had to make due with creating a google doc.

Our hotel experience would have been fine, except for when it came to making up the room. My adult child and I stayed for 2 nights, for a wedding. We came in late, and left early the next morning at 9am to help set up at the home of the wedding. We brought a friend back to our hotel to shower and were surprised that at 4:30 in the afternoon the room was still not made up! We scrambled for supplies, and and as we were in the midst of getting ready, they knocked to change the room, I asked if they could do another room and come back in 10 minutes - and she said no! she said that they were too busy! She gave us some towels and supplies and left. We were out by 5:15 to pick up 2 other guests who were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn, which might have been a better choice.

Disappointing. The front desk staff were short with us and offered poor customer service. Our room was clean on day 1, but received zero attention on day 2. No new towels or room tidying while we were out for the day. The overall condition of the hotel was tired, with broken molding, pealing wallpaper and mold around the tub. Expected more. We will not be back.
