Cheap and smelly

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Room all the way to the back. Smell in hallway, smell in elevator and smell in room. Was obviously a old smoking room that was remodeled and still has smoke flavor. So fridge didnt work, a hair pick on the bathroom, and the ceilings were really low in bathroom and doorway area. We were facing a cement wall for our view. Good luck but i am not staying there again.

Hotel close to downtown.

Location: Tour the USS Turner Joy vietnam era destroyer and see the Naval museums.
Clean, comfortable room. Nice lobby atmosphere with large TV with comfortable seating. Request a room that is not facing the highway.

Good value. Easy check-in

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Staff was very nice. Breakfast was good and well managed. Room was very clean. The bed was a little high for my elderly mother so we used a foot stool. Very convenient to the hwy.

A pretty nice place. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The breakfast is a little lame -- flavorless bacon, bland eggs, soggy potatoes, overly sweet instant oatmeal, but it's free. Bathrooms have no exhaust fan.

Lovely hotel with a nice view

Hotel was very nice and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast was ok, loved that they had it but wish it was out longer. The room was great, very spacious and had a balcony.

Good price

It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was in good shape and sheets were clean, but the bathtub still had used soap and shampoo from previous guests----so that was a little disconcerting.

Good and bad

Posted Mar 16, 2015
The building's elevators had a strong smell of perhaps, bleach, or another cleaning agent. I was accommodated on the second floor, and the sound of the freeway was a bit much, the next morning. The only ice and vending machines were on the 4th floor, and I was on floor 2. It was a perfect location for what I was doing that night, though!

Convention

Posted Mar 16, 2015 on Hotels
I was in town for a small convention being held at the Baymont. The hotel is older but was clean as was the room. A hearty continental breakfast was included with the room (eggs, bacon, sausage, two kinds of waffles, oatmeal and biscuits, toast, juice, yogurt, danishes, etc.) which was nice since there is not a restaurant in or within safe walking distance of the hotel (you have to cross a highway to get to Denny's). The staff were very friendly but I would highly recommend bringing an extension cord if you are going to use their conference room off the lobby. The table is set up for power in the table, but the plug for that doesn't actually have an outlet to plug into.

Good. Suits it purpose

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: convenient location for passing through and needing sleep.
Cons: Rooms are "tired". Beds were quite comfortable.
Its not a bad hotel. Its large, and feels like it is targeted towards the traveller. Its next to a major freeway, which is helpful, but not really noisy. Its high up above Bremerton, and you need to drive to get to and from. The rooms were a bit tired, and the water turned brown while we were there (the staff said it was because of the high occupancy rate??). But it served its purpose as a way point for us on our way to Port Angeles and Vancouver Island. If I needed to stay in Bremerton again, and was passing though as opposed to being in the town itself, I'd have no issue with going back.
