spacious, clean, friendly staff, close to amenities in town and ferry (less than 1 mile walk). Starbucks across street an added plus.

Great hotel, handy to shops in a leafy setting.

We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids, then needed to ask for an extra blanket so I could make the sofa bed for the kids. Aside from that, excellent facilities - internet, breakfast, location, parking, elevator, etc. recommended.

Comfortable hotel

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Comfortable bed, good shower, aircon that worked well, friendly efficient staff.
Cons: A kettle in the room would have been useful. More choice at breakfast and more seating.
We stayed for 2 nights while we attended a wedding on Bainbridge Island. Our room was large and clean, and had a great shower, a comfortable bed and effective air conditioning. Free parking was available. The staff were efficient and we had no problems. There's a parade of shops opposite the hotel with a large Safeway store and a Starbucks. The hotel was easy to find and close to the Seattle ferry but we didn't explore the area much so can't comment on local restaurants. The breakfast was basic and there wasn't much seating but it was ok. The room had a drip coffee machine and a microwave but making tea would have been easier with a kettle. I would happily stay in the hotel again.

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, out of the way without being too far from activities and restaurants.
Cons: A pool
Location: Jake sick up great deli, near downtown Winslow. Nice walking distance to town.
The only thing lacking was a pool. I enjoyed my stay there. Relatively quiet and clean.

A Pleasant Trip

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: The room was really comfortable and the kitchenette was great. Very accessible to the island's shopping and other activities.
Cons: The mattress should be upgraded.
Location: Directly across from a great pizza place that has gluten free crust! Drivable to Ft. Ward state park. 1 mile walk to Bainbridge city center.
The property was really pleasing. Nice rooms, great rates. Easily accessible to the island's many features. A great get-away for us. Fantastic little kitchen in terms of hotel kitchens! The only thing that we did not like was the mattress. I am very sensitive to mattresses and found myself, on the third night, unable to sleep all the way through the night. My husband, who is not at all sensitive, also found the mattress to be difficult. So, enjoyable, but not comfortable if I was going to stay more than two nights.

Very nice hotel, will come again

Location: Downtown is a short drive away. But it's on a small island, so pretty much everything is nearby.
Nice friendly staff, good location close to downtown, clean spacious rooms.

A stay for a full week

Posted Oct 8, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: As mentioned--cooked breakfast should be more varied on a day to day basis.
Location: Not much to do locally but i was visiting family, who unfortunately could not accommodate me, so it did not matter.
I had only intended to stay a couple of nights but my itinerary had to change and I was there for a full week. I was made most welcome and the hotel was in excellent condition (unlike its counterpart in Chicago!) My only criticism was the (cooked) breakfast which, although the quality was good, anyone such as myself having a prolonged stay would prefer some variety.
