A bit hard to find, but worth it.

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: As far as I could tell, we were the only living things in the room which is more than I can say for most rooms back East.
Cons: The pillows are the weirdest things I've ever encountered. I felt like I was sleeping on an airbag salvaged from an auto accident.
Location: You can see a Navy gray ship out the window or go eat at Anthony's a block away. For fast food the Taco del Mar next door is good.
The first thing to remember is that when you get downtown, you are going to be turning towards the ferry terminal and you need to stay left to actually get to the hotel rather than on the boat. We basically lucked out on that one. The staff is great, the location is nice with several restaurants nearby and the entire area is much better than the rest of Bremerton's general scuzziness. The little things were mostly nice. The towels don't feel like sandpaper. The shower head is high enough that a normal height person doesn't have to do the limbo to wash his/her hair. The room had a view of the water, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The place is clean and the breakfast is great, providing a nice sendoff from a much better stay than 90% of the hotels I've been to in the last decade. And to think it is in Bremerton. Now that is nothing short of a miracle!

Nice hotel!

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Comfort, quiet, convenient for walking around sightseeing & restaurants.
Cons: It was a bit inconvenient to have to walk from the deck behind the pool to the front of the hotel to re-enter - though understandable.
Location: The location is very near the ferry, but it's also close to the Naval Museum and the Harborside Water Park. Really enjoyed walking around the area.
At reserving our room, we had requested as quiet as possible with a view. The room we were given was on the third floor - away from the elevators, which was really nice. The view was limited of the water, but still a nice a view. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I liked that I was able to fully shut off the air conditioning to make our rest even quieter. The only dislike I had was I could hear the people in the adjoining room once in a while. The pool is small, which is a bit of a downfall but it is open early! It opens at 6 AM and closes at 10 PM. Outside the pool is a deck overlooking the harbor and it is equipped with a BBQ. We were able to sit outside as the sun went down - it was very peaceful. The hotel is situated close by restaurants such as the Red Lobster and Bremerton Bar & Grill, and we enjoyed walking around the Harborview Water Park & Naval Museum. The breakfast offered many different items to eat. Paying $7 more to park in the underground parking was well worth the safety & convenience of it and it was nice because after we checked out, we could leave our car there till as late as 11 PM if we had wanted to wander around more by foot, or ferry. We would definitely return to the Hampton Inn.

Very Convenient

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Convenience, cleanliness, staff, cost.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: On the Bremerton water front, next to convention center and ferry dock.
After searching in vain for an affordable hotel in Seattle during Labor Day weekend, found this gem right next to the Bremerton Ferry Dock on the waterfront. Less than half the cost of Seattle rooms, plus a beautiful ferry ride each day! We then easily walked to SafeCo field, Pike Place Market, Westlake... and no parking hassle! The desk clerks were super friendly and helpful, the room clean. Not a luxury hotel, but nice. The only negative was the complimentary breakfast--awful.

Perfect location to the ferry but still quiet.

We weren't there long, but it was a very large, comfortable room. Breakfast was good. Good value for the money.

Nice hotel; convenient for ferry trips to Seattle

Posted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Location. Convenience.
Cons: More attention to breakfast actually being hot and there being plenty of trays available.
Location: Walking distance to the Seattle Ferry, the Turner Joy, Naval Shipyard Museum, and a cute park with great fountains and a bench overlooking the water.
The hotel was within a short few minutes walk to the ferry terminal, which was our intended plan so it worked out very well. Once we parked the car, we didn't need to move it again (which was good because it happened to be the weekend of the Blackberry Festival and the place was packed!). The hotel itself was comfortable enough that we would go there again. The "hot" breakfast was lukewarm but there was a microwave so it was easily remedied. The were also out of trays so carrying breakfast up to the room was a bit of juggling act. Again, nothing that would ruin a trip but also enough of those little things add up to create a less than "excellent" experience. Our room was relatively comfortable as far as the furnishing went. However, it sounded like there was either construction or a circus act going on in the room above us. Next time, I would get a room on the third floor to avoid the noise factor. Oh, the pool is very tiny. Once more than 4 or 5 people are in it, it can get uncomfortable.

Ok but...

Parking was creepy. There were homeless people walking around. I didn't feel safe in the garage. Low clearance just in case you have a lifted truck. Theres an extra 7.00 charge. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Clean bedding though!
