Good location and satisfactory conditions.Posted Mar 31, 2015
We found the bed a little uncomfortable; the bottom sheet slipped off of the mattress way too easily. We had a king size bed which was higher in the middle than the sides. Also, the little refrigerator in the room had no controls other than plugging it in or unplugging it. When we left it plugged in overnight, everything was frozen solid! Plenty of hot water for our baths, which was appreciated.

Nice hotel for a quick stay.Posted Mar 31, 2015
Not a lot of amenities, but fine for a short stay. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and bigger than I expected. I would recommend staying here. I will stay here the next time I'm in Bainbridge Island.

Convenience and costPosted Jan 6, 2015
Pros: Location and price compared to other options.
Cons: The included self-serve breakfast has limited options. Just the very basics, including a finicky waffle iron.
Location: Short walking distance to Safeway, banks, the high school, McDonald's, a hardware store, pizza joint. Longer walking distance to Winslow main street.
I've done quick overnight stays here over the years. Bainbridge Island has few options when it comes to traditional motels, and this one is a good combination of competitive price and central location. It's not a new facility but is well maintained and clean.

Bad place during a storm, good locationPosted Dec 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed during a terrible storm and so had no Internet connectivity. Bainbridge Island also has only fair cell phone access. The front desk did not answer their phone (internal or external calls) and therefore I was essentially marooned for 3 days. The Inn can't control the weather but they CAN answer the phone! Breakfast was OK--nothing great, but location was excellent.

Do not stay here!Posted Sep 20, 2014
Staff friendly enough but had strong odor of cigarettes on their breathe and hands. They had no maps of the area at the counter and said they've been on order for more two months. The room was dark and run down with a strong odor of flowery air freshener which was overwhelming. Staff said owner is cracking down on late cancellations and refuses to give refunds. This indicated to me that the owner(s) know they have problems.

Pros: The room was clean.
This place is old and dated. The bed was really uncomfortable. They put a thick pad on top of the mattress I guess to make it better. Instead it just gets wadded up when you sleep. The coverlet on to of the bed was worn and pilled and you don't even want to sit on it. The room had an odd smell. The breakfast buffet was pitiful. I'm so glad we only had to spend one night here.

great spotPosted Aug 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
It is what is. An old motel, a little dirty with some wear and tear, but exceptable for the price. However, it's in a great location to catch the ferry to Seattle and all the things Bainbridge has to offer.
