Good size room with king bed. Very comfortable, Great shower with instant hot water. Would have been nice if there was a second staircase to the second floor. Convenient location. Enjoyed exploring the downtown area and taking a drive around the island close to the water.

Perfect Bainbridge LocationPosted Oct 20, 2013
Pros: Free wifi, location
Location: Walk to Winslow, near the Aquatics centre where you can use the pool for a small fee.
The hotel is perfect for a short stay on Bainbridge Island. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but offered eggs, sausage and fresh waffles you make yourself. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable. The included toiletries are nice. Free wifi worked very well. The hotel is located near a strip mall with a Safeway and a CVS along with other smaller shops. There is also a restaurant called Island Grill which has very good food and a small bar where you can watch sports or just have a drink in a comfortable place. It is also a short walk from the hotel to Winslow, the Main Street of Bainbridge which has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and other small shops. There is also a nice walk along the harbour. I would stay there again.

Older motelPosted Sep 27, 2013
Cons: Most rooms need updating.
Older motel that needs updating. However, it does grow on you and in the end comfortable. Staff is great. Very small town quality. Would stay again.

There was one thing I enjoyed the most and that was the quietness of the hotel area. I had a great night sleep there on our night visit.

The bed was too soft, the linens were badly stained and every electrical device in the room seemed to have been broken at some point and poorly repaired. The place could've/should've been nicer than that.

Nice location but need updatingPosted Aug 22, 2013
Cons: Outdated carpet and bathroom.
The hotel is at a nice location but needs updating. The bathroom (especially the toilet) and carpet were very dirty and overall did not feel clean. The first staff when I was checking in was a bit unfriendly but the second one when I was checking out was friendly.

Look new but really oldPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel had a new siding job but the interior was old and dated. Fairly clean and a good size room.

My review of the Island Country InnPosted Aug 9, 2013
It was quiet....pretty good location for quick arrival and departure to mainland -- the cab ride was only 5 bucks! (Bus $2 /person and a short walk). A good place if you're just looking to crash after an exhasting day doing Seattle, and great if you're staying on Bainbridge Island to check out the fabulous local "flavour". Also --- if you're checking out a an event (eg. baseball game) there's plenty of time to catch a late ferry back to the island. I'd go back....!

Nice alternate to downtown SeattlePosted Aug 8, 2013
Nice place, easy (and fun!) access to Seattle via ferry (~15 min walk from hotel). No complaints

The hotel is clean, the décor and tv are very old. Though they have direct TV, it has about 3 channels (local) and a lot of infomercial type channels. It is close to the highway and can be a little noisy
