Not what I Expected

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: See above
Cons: A coat of paint to get rid of the tobacco smell in a "smoke free" room. Remove the bedless headboard. A better quality mattress.
Location: We went there to get to a nearby medical facility. I would not go out of my room because of the neighborhood.
This motel is in a run down neighborhood, and the facilities are less than memorable. We went in the motel ready to cancel our reservation because we did not feel comfortable staying there. But Stacey, who was working the desk, gave such good service that we decided to stay. The room was somewhat run down and the bed could have been better. The bathroom was the best part of the facility. The breakfast was something to put in my stomach; but nothing to get excited about. Here again, the desk clerk made up for the lack luster selection with good service and a desire to help. If I had it to choose all over again, I would go somewhere else. Based on the above, I felt it was about $25 overpriced.

Peaceful

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: it was quiet friendly and very clean
Cons: if check out time could be at noon instead of 11, i did not want to get out of bed!!!!
Location: the location is on a very busy main road and there is a grocery store and restaurants near by all within walking distance too!
My experience at the Midway Inn was great. Check in was quick and easy and the front desk was very professional. When i got to my room they already had the heat on so the room was nice and warm. My room was very welcoming and clean also. Breakfast in the morning was nice I just had a waffle egg and coffee even though they did offer more things.

Okay for the night

The front desk people were very good, helpful and polite/friendly. There was what appeared to be a heavy smell of cleaner all the time in the hallways. Bed was hard and lots of noise in the parking lot and main roadway right next to it. Couldn't keep my window open without sounding like a city street.

not impressed

not impressed at all. The staff was friendly, but the place is run down. And what is that guy with the dog in the lobby doing or that other guy who is sleeping in the chair next to the lobby?

We chose this motel because of its proximity to our children's home. The room was quiet, clean and provided a nice view of the Olympic Mountains ( on the north side). The breakfast was adequate but could use some tweaking. The only cold cereal offered was Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios, the only juice was orange, the only bread was white bagels. There is a free use computer for internet but no way to print boarding passes if you use it for check in for flights.

Great staff :)

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Very close to the college where I was attending a conference.
Cons: There was an AC unit in the room - but it didn't work. I know its the Northwest, but the hotel is right on a main road so lots of street noise
The staff were awesome - very attentive and friendly. No AC was the only bummer since that meant I had to keep the window open which upset my allergies and had to hear some street noise.

Great location!

Posted May 12, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness. Covered Parking. Location. Staff. Breakfast. Fridge and micro. Elevator.
Cons: I really can't think of anything! We had a great stay!
Location: Evergreen park was close! Hospital just 4 blocks away. Lots of shopping and restaurants.. Mexican one next door is DELISH!
We came up for a wedding at a nearby park. Got the name of the hotel from the bride. We were kinda expecting the rooms to be musty smelling for some reason... but they were not at all! The chair in the corner was a bit dated looking, but it was comfy! The room was super clean! Bed was perfectly firm and comfortable as well! The micro and fridge were a welcome addition! The water pressure was fabulous!!! The breakfast was very good. Waffles! Yummm!! Staff very friendly and helpful! We stayed 2 nights, and we would stay there again! Very nice stay!
