“4th visit”

We will continue to stay at Oyster Bay inn. Nice continental Breakfast with a great view.... Rooms vary from nice to "ok".

“Great value, at least at their discount rate”

I stayed over Thanksgiving week and found their kitchenette suite quite comfortable and spacious. Internet connection was reliable, bed was clean and comfortable. Seems they were running a special at the time and rooms were half-price (and the kitchenette was only a marginally higher price). Oyster Bay isn't just an Inn, but a restaurant. Steak, seafood, salad, et cetera. They also provide a 5% discount to their guests. All in all, an unbeatable value at their discount rate.

“Overall nice”

The hotel was clean and the room very nice. The staff was helpful. We enjoyed the room but the bed was saggy in the middle.

“Great location, but...”

Excellent location, great views. Helpful staff. Hotel is older and needs some upgrades. Beds were saggy and small for two people.

“Hard beds, noisy kids, and missing items”

Beds hard as rocks! Kids hockey team allowed to run up and down the hall pounding on doors. Left medication in room, upon return it was MISSING. Cant make accusations, but... Also promised follow up call from manager. Never happened. Rooms old, walls dirty and old beds that were hard. 5 star hotel location ran in a 1 1/2 star way.

“Not the best, but not bad”

It was a good place to stay for the price.

“Middle of the Road”

This is an older hotel, obviously refurbished. The room and halls were clean and smelled fresh but the sound proofing could stand improvement as noises from the room above filtered through loudly. The free continental breakfast was ordinary but the dinner menu in the restuarant was anything but.

“Better hotels in the area for the same price”

The room smelled bad, the bed was uncomfortable, and the furniture fell apart. The view was amazing, but not worth the money since you can see the same view for free. The furniture was very outdated. When you flushed the toliet it was very loud. The shower head didn't have good pressure. The service was good and the front desk was nice, but it was not a good overall experience.

“Needs remodeling”

The hotel is located on a bay and the view from the rooms are as advertised but the beds are old and lumpy and the pillows worse. We were in 2 different rooms, so it seemed to be the same problem in all the rooms

“No Sleep”

Although deck and lake view were beautiful, the walls were paper thin. There were parties all night long and loud banging and foul language. We cut out stay short and moved to another motel.
