“Well-located for shoppers”

We had a very comfortable, pleasantly decorated room at the Coachman recently. The bathroom was bright and modern, the breakfast very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to someone who wishes to shop the Kittery outlets as the location is ideal. Our only (slight) disappointment was that connection to the Internet from our computer was too slow. However we were able to use the inn's computer.

Service was extremely friendly and helpful ... would definitely stay again. We've stayed here before, and have always been pleased. The decor is a bit dated, but the rooms are huge, and comfortable.

The check-in gal was out of the way helpful. Gave us a more accomodating room without our even asking about it. Realized we were 4 older women traveling together. It was great. The bathroom was huge!

Close to outlets. Convenient resting place after a fun day of shopping. Motel met all our needs.

“Toatlly clean, neat and friendly”

I read travel advisor and saw negative comments, but I was totally pleased with the Coachmen. It was clean and neat and comfortable. People were extremely friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

“Wonderful!! Especially if with pet....”

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. If you have a dog, this is the place to stay. Room are set up so you have a door to the inside corridor hallway which takes you to the main lobby for light breakfast and coffee, and also a door to the outside parking lot and lawn where you can take your dog for walking, etc. and they provide you with cleanup baggies and a trash receptacle. You may laugh when you read this, BUT THE SHOWERS ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!!!! HEAVENLY!!!!!!:) Very easy to find the Coachman, right on Route 1 after all the store outlets so it's really convenient. Next to a Dunkin Donuts so you can go there for coffee in the morning as well. Would definitely stay again if in the Kittery area, which is gorgeous, by the way, when you get away from Rt 1 and check out the neighborhood. Hope the Memorial Bridge gets fixed soon.

“Nice Hotel”

Nicely maintained small privately owned hotel. It did have a slight musty odor but, it seemed very clean. It's not a Marriot, if that's what you want find a Marriot.

well the hotel is not bad location is great, but needs to make sure the room and the bathroom be more clean or deep clean even better vacuum

“Journey to Kittery”

This hotel was adequate for our quick trip for a one-night stay. While it is convenient to the malls of Kittery there is nothing extra and really attractive about the facility. The continental breakfast was o.k but doesn't overhelm one. We didn't expect a 4 star hotel but it certainly could do better with some updating of the building an the facility. Our room was small and with little extra moving-around area and furniture lacked comfort.

“Good for 1 or 2 nights on a journey or a shopping”

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel a number of times, most recently, for one night on our trip down to Florida in Jan and 1 night on our journey back to Nova Scotia in April. For context, this is a fairly old physical plant that they have done some updating to recently. Reception staff are pleasant, rooms were clean, wifi worked well and the rates are very reasonable. It is also very close to the Kittery outlets if that is of interest. The included breakfast is as good or better than you get at your typical middle or lower priced motel/ hotel, (e.g. holiday inn express). There is a good sized out door pool which was closed for the winter season when we were there.
