Excellent hotel, great value!

Posted Aug 31, 2014
We stayed here on a road trip for one night and absolutely loved it. The hotel was very clean and looked brand new (maybe it is). We were exhausted from traveling and the beds couldn't have been more comfortable. It was by far the best hotel on our trip and the staff was very friendly! The location is also nice as it's next door to a restaurant and very close to a grocery store, gas station and much more.

Thank you so much for the wonderful comments. Our hotel was built in 2008 and is the newest hotel in Klamath Falls. We do hope to see you again. Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel.

Handy for Crater Lake

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Location close to Crater Lake
Location: Crater Lake is about 30 minutes away.
We stayed two night so we could see nearby Crater Lake. Hotel was fine. Rooms were nice and big. Bed was big and comfortable. Room had all the usual things you would expect. Breakfast was fine with a pancake machine! All the other usual stuff you would expect like fruit juice, cereals, toast, cakes and as mentioned pancakes!

1st time - really impessed

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything you'd need. Love free wi-fi!
Cons: There was an ice machine on every floor, BUT the 2nd floor where our room was. This made for a very long trek for ice.
We had never stayed at a Holiday Inn (Express or otherwise) and wer were really impressed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was super spacious and clean. We had 2 queens a sleeper sofa and there was still room for a chair with ottoman, a table w/2 chairs and a kitchenette. The bathroom had everything you'd need and then some like the make-up remover towelette. There was a sign in the bathroom letting guests know that if they forgot a toothbrush, toothpaste etc, to just phone the front desk and they would bring it to us complimentary. We've stayed at Westins and Hyatts and have never seen anything like that! The free wi-fi and parking were much appreciated and the free breakfast was a money saver. I think my favorite thing about the room was the variety of pillow choices. Each person (there were 4 of us) has a firm and soft pillow and on the outside of the pillowcase "soft" or "firm" was embroidered. So helpful! I'm not sure if all Holiday Inn Express hotels are like this, but this one was great!

Room smelled like a dirty dog!

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Nothing special...particularly for the price.
Cons: Fix the odor problem
Location: Klamath Falls is a stop-over location. The city has nothing to offer for an extended stay.
The room looked clean, but had a foul odor. The odor improved when we turned on the air conditioner, which we really didn't want to run because it was cold outside. The hotel clerk apologized for the smell, and assured me that they don't allow pets in the room. You don't expect to pay $150 for a stinky room.

Excellent location. An hour to Crater Lake and Lava Bed Monument. The queen suite is excellent. Breakfast Buffet is standard. We will come back.
