Modern Rooms

Posted Nov 19, 2014
Pros: Close to a good selection of restaurants.
Cons: A little expensive for the type of hotel.
We have stayed here before and enjoy the clean modern room's, and it is pet friendly also.

Nice stop on our way to Florida

Posted Nov 4, 2014
Pros: see experience
Cons: see experience
Location: see experience
Convenient location away from the Interstate and close to nice restaurants. Room was very comfortable, plenty of room to relax. Extra sink was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, nice big screen TV, although is was not HD but provided HBO. Tap water was quite bleach y tasting but not a problem of the hotel (read - bring your own drinking water). The only sore spot was the breakfast in that the staff was not up to the task of filling the hot items tray and keeping up with the coffee demands (had to request their assistance). We will probably use this hotel as our stop over spot on our way to Englewood Florida from London Ontario.

Extra Nice for the Price

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Spacious, clean rooms at a good price, nice location, tasty hot breakfast, convenient to downtown Knoxville (15 mins).
Cons: It would be good for business travelers like me if there were a meeting room
Location: Lots of good restaurants close by, dry cleaners across I-75 and it was especially nice to have Ingles supermarket just across the parking lot.
I needed to arrange rooms at a reasonable price (under the per diem) for my volunteer team to meet and work for a week, and I was worried about the lack of a meeting room at the hotel, but we met in my king suite and I was able to rearrange furniture and actually use a projector to display presentations on one wall. It worked and even with a team of 5 people we didn't feel like total sardines.

Nice hotel for a weekend stay for a wedding.

Front desk was a little unprofessional. Other than that the hotel room was clean and very quiet. All rooms were full, but no disturbances.

Rooms were awesome. Lobby needs some work.

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Rooms- nicely decorated, comfortable bed - good air conditioning and clean shower!
Cons: Lobby decor.
Location: Near Tennessee University. Many restaurants in walking distance.
Checked in with no problem. Was pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. Was beautiful. Lobby needs to be upgraded a little to match the rooms but was a great stay. Food within walking distance. Everyone friendly.

Great value, spacious room

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: price, location, free breakfast
Cons: squeaky bed springs, need more bedding options for pull out sofa
Location: University of Tennessee
We were up in Knoxville for the TENN game and needed a place to stay. We decided on this hotel because of the price and distance to the campus. The front desk clerk was pleasant upon check in and we were quickly checked in and headed to the elevator. I have to say the elevator is SLOW, but first-world problems, right? Anyways, our room was spacious, nice size fridge and nice upgraded bathroom countertops. Good water pressure and didn't run out of hot water (4 people taking showers back to back). One of the beds (Room 311) had very squeaky springs, but I made sure to assign that one to my son that sleeps like a rock. Breakfast was good, lots of selection even for us sleepyheads that didn't eat until 9:00 AM.

Aug 29 suite

This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The beds need to be replaced and the bathroom needs the wallpaper removed. The walls were dirty. The girl who checked us in was on the phone with another call. This was not her fault but the hotel is short staffed. There were only 3 towels and wash clothes. We had to Ask for more.
