“Best Value in Knoxville”

The hotel was easy to find and convenient to the center of Knoxville. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast and easy. The lobby was very attractive and clean and all public spaces were clean and tidy. Our room was clean and stocked with all necessary linens and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable and all electrics worked. The continental breakfast was just what we needed and check-out was fast and easy. The neighborhood wasn't particularly attractive, but provided easy access to services and quick freeway access. I highly recommend this hotel as a convenient, reasonably priced chioice in Knoxville.

We really enjoyed the stay even though it was just for a night.Wish it was a little closer to UT campus but we managed. The cont.breakfast was awesome!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It was just off the interstate and easy to find. There were two topnotch restaurants within walking distance. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The pool was larger than I expected. The free breakfast was very good and satisfying.

An older, but comfortable, facility that is attractive and very well maintained. Unfortunately I can not recommend it, through no fault of the hotel. There is a restaurant (called "Quaker Steak and Lube") right next door with a very, very loud (and not very good) band that plays until around 11 a.m. and can be heard for blocks. And apparently every Thursday is biker night at the restaurant, so the roar of numerous motorcycles is added to the mix. Turning on the air conditioner’s fan in the hotel room to run full time helps some by creating “white noise.” If this situation were to go away, I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

“Traveling to visit UT”

Stayed one night to visit UT. Hotel was convienantly located right off the interstate and was just 10 minutes from UT. The hotel staff was open and friendly. The breakfast was what you would expect- bagels, cereal, and waffles- all set out fresh that morning. The room was great and the beds were comfortable. My only gripe was the bathtub didn't appear to be cleaned to well. One call and that was taken care of- so overall- I would stay here again.

our hotel room was very clean and bright, had no issues w/ anything. very good breakfast quality. very good for price! do not reccommend restaurant in front of it though, quaker steak and lube!

“Clarion Merchants Drive”

Not a bad hotel. Worked for how we used it which was just a pit stop on the way to the Smokies. VERY small room, but again it was just for a matter of hours (got in at 2AM; left at 10AM). Can't complain about the cleanliness. Felt very secure and safe (well-lit, secure outside doors, etc.) Didn't get to enjoy the breakfast so no comment there. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place to crash on the way down 75. Anything more than a one-night stand may be pushing it.
