RelocatingPosted Jun 16, 2014
A thoughtful young man working the check-in at 10:00 pm on Sat. June 14, 2014 figured out how I could pay for my son to spend the night at the Comfort inn. My son was relocating from AL to NC with limited funds. He suggested that I go online and register my son in a room there. I and my credit card were in NC. My son did not have a credit card. That young man saved 'the night'. Many thanks from a grateful Mom

Pretty good valuePosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly staff, recommended excellent local resturant at Marina about 5 miles. BFast just ok. Not enough seating. Good value, would stay again.

Clean hotel, odd registration servicePosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good over-all but one strange check-in procedure for me. I booked through hotels.com but the manager oddly insisted I also completely fill out a registration form manually (the paper forms like motels had in the 1950's) saying, "we lost all our data once" then while I completed the form he delivered a mini-lecture on data preservation finishing with "we keep everything now manually too which is why you must fill out that form." To me it was a strange and delaying approach since I book with hotels.com to speed up irritating check-in procedures like this. Otherwise the hotel was a good Comfort Inn...and quite clean and quiet.

Reasonably close to the Tail of the DragonPosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Hotel clerk was very helpful and polite.
Location: Close to the freeway and next to a Ruby Tuesday's restaurant.
I stayed at the Comfort Inn the night before I was to ride the Tail of the Dragon. The hotel clerk was helpful and provided information to me about the ride. The hotel is about 30 minutes away.
