“Reasonable & Comfortable hotel”

“Not the best, not the worst”

We were looking to save a few dollars on our trip, so we chose the Comfort Inn for our three night stay. This property was a bit dated, but met our needs. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet, had a fridge and microwave. Front desk personnel were very pleasant. Breakfast was good - my teenager is always happy if waffles are available. Had an issue with towels not being replaced the first day, then a missed cleaning the next day (however, we were in the room most of the day until dinnertime). We reported the missed cleaning to the front desk late afternoon, and they did not offer to have the room cleaned, just told me to come back by when I returned from dinner to pick up my towels (and I did not push to have it cleaned). The towels were ready and waiting when I checked back, but the room was still as we had left it. Also, both keys quit working mid-day on Friday and we had to make another trip to the desk to have them reactivated. Minor annoyance except that we were at the back of the hotel. Overall not a perfect stay or hotel, but comfortable, quiet and located near the area we were visiting. Recommended if you aren't too picky.

Area recommendations

West Knoxville - Lots of choices in hotels and restaurants, shopping, but close enough to UT and downtown to get there in just a short drive.

Family-friendly activities

White-water rafting and canopy tours (ziplines) are a short drive from Knoxville, but don't require you to go to or even through the congested Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area unless you just want to.

“pretty good stay”

The hotel was nice enough, nothing super great, but it was clean and all the workers were very nice. I just wanted to open the window, but it have been sealed shut. The complementary breakfast was pretty good as well, not the Ritz, but free.

“Enjoyed stay”

Excellent Service & perfect location, but their internet service was on the blink, not good if you have wireless laptop. Enjoyed their free full breakfast

“Great For The Price”

My family and I booked this hotel for a reunion in TN. I was uncomfortable until I arrived at the hotel because the price was so low, but I found this to be an outstanding hotel for the price we paid a night. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Room was clean. My only complaint was the hot tub was cold. I would return to this hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone.
