Pros: looks like rooms need general updating
not the newest, good location, but no exhaust fan in bathroom, so really hot. carpets felt somewhat damp, and bathroom ceiling had signs of mildew. beds were comfortable, but I would not recommend to friends.

Memorial Day Weekend

Pros: It was so-so...
Cons: Door exits could use a well placed hydraulic shock to dampen the closing of the doors. I was awoken multiple times with the doors closing in the hall.
Location: Directions were very hard to follow as Motel was located off the main drag. You could see it from the Interstate, but just could not easily get to it.
Expedia booked it -- rate was a lot higher than I expected but I needed to stay at that particular motel. When I asked the motel about any other discounts, such as retired military, federal employee, or AARP, they just shook their head, no. So much for Memorial day... When I checked in about 2PM, the lobby was warm and humid, which, the next morning, and each morning there after, went to iceberg cold! My slightly warm sausage patty, pre-processed scrambled egg round and gravy on a biscuit cooled down quite fast. However, the coffee was good, but could have used a bigger cup for each of my three morning road sojourns. My room was old. About 12 inches of one side of the room carpet was thread base. My mattress, although comfortable, was also old. As I checked for bed bugs, I noticed on side of the ticking and bedding had fallen apart, exposing the inner springs.

Pros: Close to restaurants and the interstate highway
Cons: Renovation
The sheets were stained. The mattress was stained and one sheet had holes where maybe chlorine had eaten through. Lid on toilet water tank was broken. Everything else was old and worn. Didn't feel clean and tidy. I have a long history of staying at Comfort Inns but the last three stays have gotten progressively worse. I am through with Comfort Inns.

Good - with exceptions

Pros: Convenience of location - check-in, staff. Nice bed. We had to leave before breakfast - but I was able to get coffee in the lobby.
Cons: Need to work on the details - toilet flushing, iron working, better coffee in the room
Location: Good location - easy access to Interstate 40.
We have stayed here before - and had a satisfactory time. It was clean, nice staff - just signs of "old". The exceptions - iron did not work; the toilet did not completely flush, the coffee maker worked - but we wish it hadn't.
