Nice hotel close to the airport

Location was excellent. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was great with one major exception....we couldn't turn on the heater during a below zero night. For whatever reason the heater put off a terrible old fish smell when on. The front desk staff seemed aware of it and gave us a spray to use, which was extremely helpful when we shut the heater off. The hotel was booked so we couldn't change rooms. If not for that smell it would have been a great overall experience.

Book somewhere else!

Hotel was so-so. Shower curtains have fallen off into the shower. Breakfast was sparse. I would stay somewhere else - Holiday Inn Express just down the road was much better.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not noisy considering how close it is to the airport. Convenient location for what we were there for. Easy trips to smoky mountains, gatlinburg and knoxville.

Poor maintenance of rooms

Maintenance is horrible. Rooms are in poor condition. Furniture old and badly worn. Walls painted over water damage. Toilet loose from floor. Shower curtain rod falling. I would not stay again.

Cons: Perfect for our needs
Location: Varied restaurants within driving distance.
This hotel was perfect for our needs. The location close to the airport and the fact we could park our car there during an extended trip abroad was perfect. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. We will definitely stay there again.

The desk clerk at check in was not very friendly. The room had several maintanance issues. Mainly bathroom issues. Also dirty towels were around ice machine to absorb a water leak. Breakfast was OK, but the least favorite of all the Comfort hotels on our trip. There was no one around to restock items during breakfast.

Great stay, especially the indoor pool.

This was our final day of a 10 day trip and it was such a relief to stay in this large room. Ours had a fold out couch and two beds. There was way more room here than in the resort we had been in for six days. The pool was open 24 hrs and had a partial glass room to let in sunlight. Breakfast was delightful even though there was no bacon. It was nice to be away from Knoxville a few miles, especially on game night. There are signs of age, mostly in places that wouldn't be noticed by most travelers, but they are working on repairs. The five of us had a great stay. Shoney's and Starbucks are within sight. Pretty quiet throughout the night. Some air traffic could be heard around 9AM. We would stay here again.
