COUNTRY INN CLINTON

Posted Dec 5, 2014
Pros: Convenient location for 1 night stop over
Cons: Better quality breakfast
Close to I75 easy turn off and lots of burger type places to eat however this Country Inn does not live up to other Country Inns that we have visited in the past. The property is getting a little "tired" and the rooms seem all to have a musty smell . The breakfast had a poor selection of cereal, stale bread and scramble egg which was unfit to eat

Unsatisfactory stay!

Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: Nothing was memorable.
Cons: Provide the service that is advertised.
Location: 710 Park Pl, Clinton, TN, 37716 United States of America
The entire facility was dirty. The breakfast was the worst that I have experienced. The orange juice was out of order, two empty cereal containers, and the waffle maker was not working. This is one of the worst places that I have stayed. It is a discredit to Country Inn and Suites. I have stayed at many in different locations. There has been none to compare to this experience. The two kinds of cereal available was appropriate for children. I noticed that it is not a Carlson Company operated facility.

Perfect!

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Other than an unwanted wakeup call at 6AM on Thanksgiving morning, we didn't have a single complaint. The room was spotless, had everything in it we needed, and the staff was courteous and helpful.

Needs a little clean up.

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Lobby and breakfast area nice.
Cons: Cleanliness in hallways and room.
Hallways dirty and room could be spruced up as well , TV changer in suite did not work, overall just needs some overall care.

Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay with us. We are so sorry for the issues you experienced. There is no excuse for our hallways or rooms to ever be dirty, and for the remote to not work. We appreciate you and will continue to work to improve the condition of the Country Inn & Suites Clinton I-75.

Marginal

Pros: Decent breakfast offering.
Cons: Maintenance of things inside: Halls and rooms
Far from my best Country Inn & Suites experience. Building maintenance was below par for CI&S locations where we have stayed previously. Desk staff was less than forthright when questioned about a fraud alert I received from my credit card company shortly (less than an hour) after check-in. They denied having sent through what they called a "test charge" and claimed it was Expedia that had done so. I have used Expedia for years and have never had such this happen. I am having to monitor my account closely as a result.

Jim, Thank you for taking the time to comment about your stay with us. The "test" charge you refer to is a pre-authorization for incidentals that can potentially be incurred during your stay. Expedia only pays for room and tax, and is not responsible for incidentals. We apologize if this caused any concern. We appreciate you and will continue to work to improve the condition of the Country Inn & Suites Clinton I-75. Warm Regards,

decent stay

Posted Nov 29, 2014
Pros: the room size. the separate sitting area with TV
Cons: The pool
Location: Location was right off the 75S with easy access back to freeway. There are fast food restaurants, gas station, and grocery store easily accessible.
Our stay was for a youth football tournament. The size of the room was really nice. I really appreciated the bedroom separation from a sitting area which included a door. I was able to relax separate from the kids. Breakfast was good but the waffle maker was broke which is my kids favorite breakfast food. The chocolate chip cookies were remdemption for not having waffles :) the pool is another attraction for my kids, the pool needed some attention. I think they needed to check the chemical balance in the water. I did not get in the pool but my boys said the water was salty.

Pros: Well lit parking, handy baggage carts. Easy on/off highway
Cons: Needs general facelift - carpet, etc
1st stay here really won us over with the breakfast selections, 1 wk later. On our. Return trip was a totally different story. No breakfast meat selection, no waffle machine.... Hotel is ok, staff seems helpful. Hotel needs updating,

Great deal on Expedia

This is a nice hotel not far from Knoxville and I received a low special rate via Expedia. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was the usual sausage / waffle / scrambled eggs, etc.

excellent overnight lodging

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: I enjoyed the spaciousness and the fact that it had an indoor pool.
Cons: Nothing could be improved upon.
Location: We had our conference at the Tea Room at Norris Dam--spectacular view.
was only there overnight with conference group but I felt the accommodations were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Total comfort, excellent rating.
