Pros: The hotel is welcoming with great downtown location.. Very comfortable, clean rooms!!!!

Recommendation

Pros: Location
Cons: Parking for handicap
Location: This hotel is centrally located to family, hwy, University Of TN
We traveled to Knoxville for a funeral. The rooms were booked last minute due to the inclement weather situation. We ate dinner upon arrival. Friday night was seafood buffet night which was great!. They offered a 20% discount for guest staying at the hotel. The second night was a little rough as we were on a floor with a "jump rope team." Children were being children which caused an interruption in my rest. I did alert the front desk twice to resolve the issue. Upon check out, the staff was very understanding and accommodating. Hands down I would certainly stay here again. This was an isolated incident that we incurred.

Good for family or a business stay

Pros: Clean lobby, nice staff and the rooms are clean.
Cons: For someone not fro the area the parking was confusing. It seems like you can only valet but I guess there is parking just past the valet.
Location: It's in a professional district. Nice, looks safe enough to walk around but I didn't notice much the way of things to do, but I wasn't really looking
I have stayed at this location more then once and each time I have had a really good experience. I stayed this time for fun, not business. It was great for me and my family; clean room, nice bathroom, good/safe location for a family stay and a nice staff. Lobby looks great too. The parking was a little hard to figure out so we just valeted. That would be the only knock, the parking, but a small issue for the overall good experience and price. I recommend staying here.

Snow Stay

Pros: Location was next to the Square in Knoxville making local shopping, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a small microwave in the room, but I don't know if that breaks health code standards.
Location: Movie theater, performance theater, restaurants, shopping all close by. My son walked from UT to visit. Convenient location.
What was to be a couple nights turned into several when an ice and snow storm hit Knoxville. I extended my stay a couple extra nights as a result. The staff, accommodations, service, food, comfort was excellent all around. Nothing but good comments for this hotel and my stay.

For the price I was disappointed there was no fridge or microwave in the room I would have liked to see bathtub in the bathroom there was only a shower I would like a bath option as well and it's unacceptable to charge paying hotel guest $10 parking per day that adds to the trip expense parking for hotel guest should be free
