Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Greeted immediately by the front desk. Dominic checked us in and was very helpful recommending where to go to eat. Hotel is near Market Square which has a lot of shops and restaurants. It's also within 5 minutes of UT. Rooms were clean and looked newly renovated. Comfortable beds. It would have been nice if the room had a mini fridge and if parking was free (it cost $8).

Fabulous Stay in Knoxville!

Posted Jul 3, 2014
We were greeted and immediately impressed with the amazing staff here. Chip and fellow concierge staff immediately engaged us and offered help to my son looking for housing for law school. Great room and had a wonderful breakfast . Shout out to Brad and Varnell who were so pleasant and helpful. We will be back!

This hotel is located in a convenient area. The hotel staff all seem so happy to be working there. Any issues I had, we're resolved immediately. They were only to happy to shuttle me around anywhere I needed and wanted to go.

Nice in Knoxville!

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Great location. Downtown stores and restaurants in easy walking distance. Nice, spacious, convenient parking garage.
Cons: The air unit was noisy. The pool area was drab. You can smell garbage from the outdoor patio of the hotel bar. No show stoppers, but ...
Location: Market St (?) pedestrian zone is about three blocks away. Lot's of shops and restaurants there. Farmer's /crafters market Saturday. Fun!
Short stay in Knoxville to visit family. I'm not a Holiday Inn regular, but booked here because pro people we were meeting were here. This was a very nice property--good price too-- I guess because there was no convention in town. Got there about noon, so had to wait for room--no biggie. We went to lunch and checked in after. Lobby, halls, and guest rooms were tasteful and clean.

Ideal

This Holiday Inn is E conscience, which I consider important. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the king bed was most comfortable. The location of the hotel was right in the middle for our activities. A concert at Thompson-Boling arena and witnin walking didtance of Market Square and the park where the Sunsphere is located. This is the second time we've stayed here and will stay again.

Clean hotel, close to downtown attractions

Posted May 16, 2014
Hotel was clean and right off the main road, which made it convenient but being on a lower floor meant you could hear some traffic noises in your room. Room was energy efficient so had to keep a key in the wall at all times to keep the air conditioner set to our preferred temperature. Wasn't a problem for us since we could share the second key but if you were sharing the room with someone who needed their own key it could be a problem. Fee ($8.99) was charged for use of the attached parking garage.
