cleaniness

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Change Website not allowed pets.
Location: Location not great a lot of fast food places McDonalds on side and hamberger joint in front on main highway.
Room is very clean and comfortable, area ok alot of fast food resturants, but for most part safe area, the only problem I have on website and through agency I booked my stay I mentioned that I might bring 2 cats if I could not get pet sitter, agency said Hotel excepts animals with fee, I even checkout the website, excepts pets. When I arrived i had to sign that I was not allowed any pets in the room. I am glad that my pet sitter was available, or I would ask for money back, and travel 12 miles back home.

Great hotel. Close to the Tail of the Dragon.

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Pros: Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Location: Close to great motorcycling routes.
As soon as we arrived we knew we had chosen the right place for us. We were there to experience the Tail of the Dragon on our own motorcycles and had trailered them there from Nova Scotia. Gus at the front desk graciously allowed us to park our trailer in his field next to the hotel. He had us checked in quickly and offered us buckets and wash cloths to wash our bikes. The rooms were extremely comfortable and the hotel was very close to restaurants. Would definately recommend this hotel.

Quiet - Good Location

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: We were disappointed in the cleanliness. We found hair that was not ours. Also the thermostat would not set below 70.
We were looking for an affordable central location to explore the Great Smokey Mountains. Luxbury is that. Just a few miles from Hwy 129 and a nice ride to the Tail of the Dragon. Also fairly close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Several acceptable restaurants and the mall is close by. Just 5 miles from downtown Maryville that has historial buildings, restaurants and clubs. They have a full kitchen, free continental breakfast, and comfortable bed.

Will Use On Each Visit

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness
This is our second time staying at The Luxbury Inn and I would recommend it to anyone. It is very close to everything in Maryville and since my family will be visiting Maryville frequently we will more than likely utilize the Luxbury Inn each time we visit. It is very clean and reasonably priced. Overall it is a great place to stay.

Clean room, comfy mattress, but broken toilet

Posted Jun 10, 2014
The stay would have been perfect but the toilet in my room was broken, meaning I had to reach down in the water tank and lift the chain/clapper for every flush. I did not report it because I did not discover the problem until 10 pm on a Sunday night. I was just too tired to have them move me to another room, which surely would have been their ready. The chain and hardware were old and rusty, suggesting housekeeping had to have noticed this problem when they cleaned the room. This was an okay property but they need to attend to things like this before the guest does!

Comfortable and affordable, close to Smokies

Posted Jun 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
I enjoy staying at Luxbury. It is quiet, clean, and comfortable. Full-size refrigerators, adequate kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms are on the back side of the hotel - no parking lot - so very quiet. It is centrally located between Knoxville and Townsend, a 30-minute drive to either destination. From Townsend, access the Great Smoky Mountains NP, Cades Cove, Foothills Parkway, Tuckaleechee Caverns.

Great place!

I loved the room and the desk person was super nice. A cheaper rate would be great, but would definitely stay there again.

Convenient, clean with long stay amenities

Great price and while my stay was short this would be my choice for a longer stay in the area.
