Disappointing

TV remote didn't work; staff had to bring in second one in order to have a channel selection. Coffee maker didn't work. Toilet slow to flush, backed up. Asked for wake-up call, didn't happen. Very few utensils in suite, e.g. a couple of knives, one spoon, one fork, two saucers, two glasses, one cup, one plate, no bottle opener. Facility beginning to show signs of wear and tear due mostly to cheap construction. I was there for three nights over Thanksgiving and Housekeeping did not enter my room at all during that time. Joshua, staff trainee, was unfailingly courteous and helpful. Ample breakfast selections, but mostly carb based.

Nice motel, small bed

We had to find a room quickly in the midst of a move. Mainstay Suites was great for the price, attractiveness of the property and the free breakfast. The bed wasn't very comfortable; we were promised a queen but there is no way the bed was a queen. More like a double. The suite was nice because it had a fold-out couch for additional family members, a kitchenette with all the amenities and a public bathroom a few doors down in case the in-room bathroom was occupied. Notable was that the breakfast bar had the option of white rice and miso soup for Japanese guests, of which there were quite a few, but that ran out early in the breakfast bar hours. Would've been nice to try some of that. Also, oatmeal ran out quickly, but the housekeeper was nice enough to personally fix me a bowl. Other than that, the breakfast bar was above-average, as was the location of the property.

Clean, quiet comfortable.

Pros: Welcoming and competent staff. Room was equipped with everything I needed, incl decent cookware and dishes. Quiet, clean n comfortable. Nice pool.
Cons: Add bike rentals!
Location: There's a bike path nearby, many restaurants. Grocery store, dollar store. Short drive to Maryville, nice college town.
Even tho hotel was full it was quiet. Everything I needed was onsite, including a small selection of food I could cook in my suite. The outside patio/pool area was delightful...good place for families.

STAY AWAY

Pros: Leaving it.
Cons: Hire professional staff. Clean and repair items that need to be fixed. The list is too long.
Location: Close to 40 to leave.
As soon as you start to enter the hotel you can tell that it needs a little TLC. The main entrance doors were dirty and slanted to the point that the doors do not close all the way. There was a "cleaning" trash can in the entrance that was full of dirty towels that stunk like mildew. The host at the front desk was pleasant but, did not appear to be too concerned with the lobby cleanliness or noise. A on site handy man was walking around the hotel in his pajama bottoms and t-shirt talking as loud as he could to the host. He was constantly walking up and down the hallways talking on cell phone and opening and closing doors for no apparent reason. The room was somewhat clean. However, the caulking around the bathtub was mildewed and cracked. The cookware was dirty and worn out. The air conditioning did not work properly and the couch looked like it was salvaged from a curb. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever slept on and the pillows were too small. The guests in the hotel were unpleasant and rude as the stomped on the floors, talked very loud, and parked taking up two spaces. The only saving grace was that I was able to walk across the street to Texas Roadhouse. Sadly, one would have to return to the hotel at some point. If you are staying town with your family, do NOT stay here.

Please with the place

The facilities aren't the newest, latest, and greatest, but the customer service of the staff and the general upkeep of the building make up for that easily. This is a comfortable stay with a considerate staff. We plan to make it a regular stay when visiting Maryville.

Two night stay

Hotel is getting a little old. We stayed on 2nd floor the first night and the 3rd floor on the second night. The 3rd floor room was nicer. It seemed more kept up or just recently redone with carpet and paint. Also the ceiling was higher giving it the illusion of more room even though it was the same size as the second floor room. Breakfast could have been a little better.

Pros: quite
everything is great, but room service is not good. i called them to ask for clean the room, but they did not clean at all only left two bath towers. and i todl them to clean the trush, they did not take off, and the smell was so bad.
