“Not Impressed”

The motel was ok... but not high quality. If you just need a place to lay your head its okay, otherwise, if you can dish out a little more for a room, stay elsewhere.

“Nearly roach free”

You get what you pay for.The Microtel Hotel is cheap, only had to kill one roach, the WiFi didn't work well, but overall it was ok. It seemed weird that they only had twin beds, no doubles, queens or kings.

“Not impressed with motel.”

Never did get maid service.Spent 2 nights there. Location is good.The rooms are very small,but it was clean.Rate is good,but rather spend an extra 20 dollars or so for a much larger room in the same area. The breakfast was bare minimum.

Area recommendations

Depends on what your doing,and where. The W. side of Knoxville probably would be the best side of Knoxville to stay on.It is the newer side of the city,and I would say the safest.

“Second Visit”

This is the second time we have stayed there. The price is fine, bed comfortable and near many amenities- shopping, restaurants, entertainment.. The breakfast might be better- the bagels were frozen and they use muffins from plastic wrap, but the coffee is good. We will no doubt stay there again.

“I would stay here again.”

Met my needs. Reasonable rate even on a big game weekend. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are small but everything you need is there. Covers on outlets need repair (cracked or missing). Great for one person and was very convenient to the persons I was visiting. Missed he coffee maker in the room, but the breakfast area had plenty of nice hot coffee. Typical breakfast offerings for a hotel continental breakfast. Parking was ok.

None to recommend. I went only to visit family not sight see.

“It will do.”

The hotel is not the greatest, but we have stayed there many times. The hotel staff is friendly and they have a good breakfast in the morning. Just don't expect much from the room.

“A place to sleep”

The place was fine for a night or 2. This location has some age to it and is in need of renovation. I've stayed at other locations that were nice. Overall it was clean and a pleasant stay.

“waste of my hard earned money”

My son checked in first. It was filthy person running desk was not concerned at all. We did not check into our other two room with my one year old grandaughter, was not going to take the chance especially since the establishment made no other choices. There was hair in the beds. ashes on the toilet seat toilet did not flush on and on. don't waste your money at this hotel

“Could Have Been Better”

The hotel is in a convenient area with restaurants & shopping in close proximity. It was clean, however they were cutting a doorway right across the hall & there was constant noise until we requested they start later in the day.The rooms only had twin beds or queen, there wasn't an option for double beds. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room & when we requested one we were told none were available as coffee was served in the lobby, however we didn't want to dress just to get coffee.

Area recommendations

Cedar Bluff, Papermill, Downtown, Powell, Farragut All of these areas are close to restaurants, attractions & shopping.

“Name says it all! Comfy beds! Great for the price!”

Microtel. Everything shrunk down but all you need. No bells and whistles. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Only negative was the built in blow dryer was worthless. Bring your own if you need one! Overall would recommend for the price.
