As always , an excellent room no surprises. Great rates , people are ready to please. Property is 30 years old and King Superior rooms have really good updates complete.

Not the best place to stop for the night.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The best thing about this hotel is that it's located near some pretty good places to eat (Applebees and Famous Daves BBQ).
Cons: Adding a fridge and microwave in the rooms.
The person at the desk who checked me in was on the phone (apparently with a family member). She was pleasant but did not get off the phone the entire time I was checking in. I took my bags to my room and was disappointed to see a dying bug on the bathroom floor. Other than that the room appeared to be clean. There was no refrigerator or microwave. The room was also small and cramped even for just 1 person. The bathroom was also very small and cramped.

When you just need a place to lay your weary head

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Tired, need a shower and a bed to get in a few hours of rest... I'd never stay again for more then that. If fact knowing what I do... If look elsewhere and risk trying another unfamiliar hotel. Rotted wood railing, and loud a/c window units. Bed, shower and overall rooms clean.

Nice hotel close to pigeon forge and knoxville.

This is a very clean place to stay and it's not overly priced. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Motel only serves coffee and tea in the lobby but I'd rather save my money and sleep in. You can grab that cup of coffee at checkout. I would defiantly stay here again.

T-shirt left behind by previous guest in bathroom. Had to ask for enough towels.

Clean convenient place for a quick stop

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Convenience, friendly staff.
Cons: The smell of old smoke in rooms - maybe repainting?
Location: It is right off the highway and we were passing through - but a great deal of restaurants in the area for any palate.
We were driving from Mississippi to Maryland and needed a comfortable place to stop. The Red Roof Inn was very convenient, just off the highway. The receptionist was very attentive and friendly and checked us in very quickly. The place feels kind of old and I could smell faint, old smoke - but not enough to bother me. The shower pressure was almost too strong and went outside the curtain onto the floor, but they had a great supply of towels so I just laid an extra one down. It was clean enough and worked well for our needs.

Red Roof Inn just off Cedar Bluff

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The staff was awesome! Great value overall (if only the toilet flushed)
Cons: Make sure the toilets flush
Location: It's in west Knoxville which is loaded with restaurants nearby.
Toilet was stopped up, which can happen, & since I checked in late, no maintenance was available. I was unpacked & in my pajamas when I noticed, so the desk clerk ran a key up to the room next door. She was very apologetic & accommodating & could not have done anything more to impress me given the unfortunate situation

Hotel in knoxville

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Hotel overall wasn't that bad. The room was decent. It did have a funky smell. And the beds were lumpy. The shower did not drain. There was no soap or shampoo in the room. No iron. No fridge. Overall not a very accomadaiting hotel. Staff was nice but that was about it. No where near the university of Tennessee or west town mall or really anything else.
