Rooms aren't very clean - bathroom especially

Pros: The rate was very affordable
Cons: bathrooms need alot more cleaning
Location: Knoxville - went to see lady Vols!
For one night it was ok - but not the cleanness of places - reception lady was very nice

Pros: Clean, cute lobby, nice staff.
Location: Right off the highway, convenient to downtown Knoxville, lots of restaurants and grocery stores and other conveniences nearby.
The hotel itself is an old building, but they have made such efforts to create a nice experience that it honestly doesn't matter. Small rooms have everything you need... comfy bed, big hot shower, TV, etc. We had a couple groups of friends staying in the hotel and noticed that refrigerators and microwaves were not available in every room so if that is something you need, I would request a room with them up front. But everything was clean and everything smelled fresh and clean. The hotel staff was great... Carol is the best!

Clean hotel with excellent staff

Pros: The helpful and friendly staff
Cons: Key entry from the side entrance closest to my room did not work
I stayed here for a couple nights for work. I worked night shift, so the staff was very accommodating to my needs by giving me a later checkout at no charge. They were always asking if I needed anything and helped in any way they could. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Clean smell. Nicely decorated lobby.
Cons: The items mentioned above.
The head area of the bed was slanted lower than the feet. The heater was very, very loud when it turned on. The shower didn't drain properly.

Better than some of the lower priced motels I have stayed in. The area was quiet too which is nice.

Check in and Check out was very efficient. Room was very clean. My only complaint was the heating and air unit could not be adjusted and it was too warm for our liking in the room.

I was impressed with the hotel. I booked online and to my surprise, the room and hotel were as viewed. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. I will definitely stay again.
