Nora Buri Resort & Spa in Koh Samui was a wonderful holiday, everything we expected and more. the rooms were beautifully appointed and the staff couldn't do enough for us. the location is on the beach and there are several lovely restaurants at reasonable prices. We'd love to go back! Koh Samui itself is lovely, plenty of things to do in a day trip and you can go to other islands easily too.

“Great new resort on Koh Samui”

The latest Nora resort just north of Chaweng Beach is stunning and well worth a visit. The rooms are luxurious and well designed and the hotel staff were great throughout our whole 5 night stay. The breakfast buffet was included and didn't leave us wanting. The only negatives were that the resorts beach was quite rocky but the pool definitely made up for this. Would go back for sure.

Great Atmosphere, friendly stuff. Though the hotel is at Chaweng Beach, it's in 10 minutes ride by car to the center of the night life, which can be embarrassing, if you are a clubber, but just perfect, if you don't want to be in the center of noisy (and sometimes smelly) streets. We've seen several hotels on the beach, but Nora Buri is the winner in terms of privacy and cleanness.

The resort is on a hill side with beautiful landscape and a private beach. If you have a room up the hill, it can be a trek going back and forth to the water front restaurant and beach. The two pools are wonderful with swim up bars; staff are unbelieveably accommodating and friendly. The pool furniture and sections of the deck could use a good coat of stain. Venice and Anna - management team work very hard to ensure your stay is the best. The hotel ensures your safety with a under cross the road to the Barge restaurant and beach. The spa was a welcome treat. Yes, cheaper in town but at the resort spa you have peace and quite and very comfortable massage table with a great atmosphere. Breakfast buffet is outstanding; the Barge restaurant serves awesome food. Our visit was during Christmas - staff put on a beautiful meal with polynesian dancing.

Great room, great place - couldn't fault it except for the big hills which meant you had to call someone to pick you up everytime you wanted to go to and from your room and the air con was far too loud

We lived in the beach view, pool villa. It was great! The view was beautiful!

“Great vacation with a bitter taste”

The hotel is really in a tip-top shape, overlooking a beatiful shore. The staff is really making the extra effort to ensure we have the best vacation. However, we faced facilities problems in our room (744...). In the first night we didnt have hot water and we ended up taking a shower in a different room, moreover we encountered several power outages in our room and which the hotel staff wasn't able to solve. The only compnesation we got was a free shuttle to the airport (we hoped to get at least a discount). We don't think that this simbolizes the hotel but we ended up a bit dissappointed from those "little" things
